Glad I decided to drop in on this thread with all this recent talk about Lupe and this All City Chess Club. Lupe has always been my favorite artist (going to his concert when he comes to Seattle May 7 ). Thing is, I can't seem to find many others that I like. No matter what, I always tend to revert back to listening to Food & Liquor and The Cool. I'm constantly listening to both of those pretty much everyday. After seeing that B.O.B. was opening for Lupe, I started checking out a couple of songs. I'm really liking what I have heard so far. I'm gonna have to sit down and just spend a bunch of time finding stuff from him, J. Cole, and just adding others to my music rotation.

I think it is alright, I like Airplanes, Airplanes P.2, Past My Shades, Don't Let Me Fall and Ghost in the Machine.

And Fame is growing on me a bit, I always love the sample used.

I guess that is worth a buy to support him.

I loved Enemy of the State (can't believe people think it sucks), but then again Lupe hasn't put out anything that sucks, IMO. Sure it's not as good as the Fahrenheit series, and he's not rapping about anything particularly meaningful, but I love his wordplay on there (a lot of quotables). I recommend it due to the fact that it is really short (barely an album) and current.
