If these guys were any good, I would have no problem playing their music.
I'm pretty sure i talked about their culture of fans and ever increasing popularity. D12 having similar content years ago doesnt negate the impact Odd Future is having now.

Dont really care what you like to listen to, if you dont like them thats cool as I am not trying to convince you to like them. But you cant crap on all that theyre acheiving just because you dont like their music.

I will talk about how ****ty their music is if they put out ****ty music, I don't give a damn if they have fans on twitter or random forums.

I do give them credit for gaining the buzz they have. Built it off the strength of the internet with my major behind them. Plus they signed a great major label deal that gives them 100% creative control and is pretty much just covers distribution.

So they are def going to eat good off of this. End of the day I can't hate on young men making their own moves and becoming successful.

But I don't seeing this so called movement going far unless Tyler the ring leader grows as an artist. While I respect his production for what it is. Almost everything he is producing sounds damn near the same.

I can see Frank Ocean , Hodgy . Tyler , and Earl having careers doing the music thing. Can't forget they are all fairly young men still.

I think the real question should be is this OFWGKTA hype just a fad or is it something that has legs?

Good to see Spitta getting some love. Been following him since his Cash Money/Young Money days. Hopefully the video gets some spins on TV with no **** in the video.

Anyone check out the new Elzhi? Hit or miss for me but when it hits it hits its smooth as hell.

I like Elzhi, but I feel the history of the concept of Illmatic and the beats are a little much. Also seems like the beats drown his lyrics at times I feel.

Yes, definitely one of my favorites right now. I used to love how he used to get on a track with Wayne and out shine him sometimes.

                          Definitely underrated IMO..

It's amazing how much he progressed from his days with No Limit and the 504 Boys (TRU and Rich Boys also) back then his flow was akward to me but now he done mastered it and manage to even use punch lines without even rhyming lol, that's refreshing to me especially where I come from which has "rappers" using punch lines bar after bar...Trying to be Cassidy

That's tough. It's a four way tie between Digable Planets, Dilated Peoples, De La Soul & Mobb Deep. I feel both Wu-Tang & A Tribe Called Quest are overrated.

I still can't believe how many true hip-hop heads don't love De La Soul. To me they are best group ever, certainly my favorite.

3 Feet High and Rising is the second best album ever behind Illmatic IMO. That thing is so unique, so deep, so crazy - and the production on it is amazing. Timeless stuff. I think Plug Tunin' (Last Chance) may be the greatest hip-hop track ever.
