If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yeah, it's a 7 or 8 for me, not as good as EARL, but better than I expected. Wish it was more violent, but I realize that he's not really that kind of guy on the mic anymore. He's nearing Aesop Rock levels of complexity lyrically. Thank God for Rapgenius.

He's also a good to very good producer.

I was actually looking forward to hearing that Doris album. Definitely gonna have to download it later.

Also, that new Eminem track is pretty weak. Its basically a weaker version of Won't Back Down.

So after listening to SLR 2 a couple of times (I was still wrapping my head around that banana clip scheme my first couple listens. Just...only Lupe man) and hitting up Rapgenuis...

I KNEW this song reminded me of Switch AKA The Science Experiment. Similar concept he's done before and just as entertaining now that I understand the concept.

Reponses in order of who killed it lyrically.

                  1) Lupe
                  2A) Los
                  2B) Joell Ortiz

                  Everyone else

This damn Kendrick just had to wake up all these bum NY rappers with that track. Now everyone and their momma is making a response in a "lets defend NY" union; and Power105 and Hot97 feel the need to air all of them...nonstop. The worst part is they still play Big Sean's verse. At least save us from that cornball.

                      I liked Big Sean's verse...

I'm being serious. It was a good verse objectively speaking. Kendrick just happened to **** all over it.

It was a good verse for Big Sean's standards.

I like what Guru said in the video trob posted. Sean and Jay Elect dropped 30 on a night when Kendrick dropped 50.

I don't know why everybody is acting like Big Sean is the worst rapper ever, if Kendrick said Sean's verse word for word people wouldn't be able to talk they'd have his nuts so far down their throats. And I love Kendrick but the circle jerk is.played out for me at this point lol. The verse was good. I'm on mobile so I can't do it, but it someone could post Kendrick's old Monster freestyle where he called out actually big rappers and none of this fallout came from it.

                          Got it:

Fast foward to 1:52 where he actually says things to rappers instead of just saying names that rhyme.

There was nothing good about that Big Sean verse. It was an affront to hip-hop and should be erased from memory.
