Dre has always been fake, ever since he got into hip hop when he was a kid in Compton. You know how he always has that deep, manly voice he always raps with? He always tries to act hard in his songs? He's done that ever since he was a kid and people always gave him **** because he was the farthest thing from hood or tough.
He doesn't write his own lyrics, and that manly voice he uses is just too fake. I hate people that don't write their stuff. Rap used to be about who had the best rhymes. If you didn't write yours, then who cares. Like Diddy too, he had Biggie right for him. Royce Da 5'9 has written for Dre and Diddy.
Dre can make some nice beats, but as a rapper it's hilarious. I think Diddy is a whole other story. He doesn't write, and he doesn't even know how to use the machines to produce beats. He hires people to come in and do all the work on the machines. He can't even do nothing right. He has ruined some of Biggie's songs because he just talks over the beat while Biggie is doing a verse, or he just yells randomly.
I look at him and can't help but wonder how somebody can be so successful doing absolutely nothing.
