Well when someone says (Insert rapper here)is changing hip hop, then you can't expect anyone to not say anything or call you out on that particular part. Some comments are automatically going to draw reactions(and everyone that's been posting here knows exactly what that is so let's not act stupid you don't know).

That's like if you're going to say Lebron James is overrated then you're basically asking for people to call you out on it, as ridiculous as it may sound to most.

I'm speaking in general here, BTW.

Yes, his music is clever. Who else in the game spits like him? Nobody. Some of his music is for laughs, he knows it. It's all fun, people enjoy his Based tracks.

Really? "Hipster wannabes?" I don't even know how to respond to that. It's BASED MUSIC, his fans are BASED. I doubt those that don't listen to mainstream hip hop enjoy his music. If anything, a lot of the stuff posted here is Underground rappers with no more than 500 views on YouTube talking about "real hip hop." OS is full of Hipsters now? Lil B speaks from his heart. He pours his deepest feelings, on topics that may be sensitive to some, at least he's not afraid to put his two cents out.

He didn't create Ad-Libs but he sure as hell has the most popular ones.

Oh I didn't forget about the Pack, not at all. He started with the Pack and if you actually listen to his music, he speaks about how he made that transition to solo artist with a completely different style.

I will continue to post music videos just like everyone else in this thread. It is the Hip-Hop/Rap thread, right? Choosing to watch them is all on you.

Who in their right mind spits off-beat on purpose? It's a large part of the reason why the majority (including myself) thinks he sucks.

If you conflict with the song the song isn't enjoyable anymore because the rhythm is all ****ed up.

Uh, a lot of great rappers slip in and outside of the pocket when they rap. Staying directly on the beat can actually bore me at times.

His voice and content are the reasons people hate him.

If you like the guy, cool. Do that. But relax with the Lil B is revolutionary argument or that he actually brings any value to Hip-Hop or started anything. That's a lonely road to travel down.

Guy is no more a rapper than he is a cartoon character.

Can't believe I've even wasted this much time discussing a character that calls himself a "Pretty Bitch".

Not to the extent Lil B does man. He stays off-beat for entire songs.

His voice is fine. Nothing wrong with his voice. It's no more irritating than when I heard Kendrick Lamar for the first time (When he freestyled on "Monster"). His voice was ****ing terrible.

His content is for all intents and purposes hilarious. Nothing wrong with his content as I've heard worse ("She got a big booty so I call her big booty" is an example of worse). As for his serious songs, he bores me. He just doesn't have the persona to pull off seriousness IMO.

Anyways, A$AP Rocky > Lil B. IMO of course.

What I don't understand is why it keeps getting posted. You'd be better off just sharing the videos between the two of you via PM. It's becoming pretty obvious that pretty much only two people like that stuff on here anyways. What's the point?
