Oooooooooooooooooooh. Don't know if I can put them at 1.

Eazy-E, MC Ren, DJ Yella, Dre, and Cube might have something to say about that...

They don't have jack to say about it in my book lol. It all comes down to who I'd rather listen to honestly. NWA as an influential group no doubt, and I take nothing from them. But who would I rather listen to all day, NWA and that bitch this bitch that, n**** this n**** that or 13th Floor/Growing Old and the like? It's simple for me.

You got it totally right, but those two groups come from two totally different eras.

Now if I were to base this off of LYRICAL ability, then it'd be a tough one.

Just saying, I'm not gonna put NWA on top of Kast just because of NWA's influence. I acknowledge influence but that's as far as it goes. Not only that, but until Idlewild a couple of years ago, Outkast did not miss.

My top 10 or so would look something like this (except for Outkast, no particular order):

                  Outkast
                  Wu Tang
                  Tribe Called Quest
                  Eric B. and Rakim
                  Goodie Mob
                  Bone Thugs in Harmony
                  UGK
                  Geto Boys
                  Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth
                  The Pharcyde
                  The Roots

Yeah and if Camp Lo hadn't peaked so early they'd probably be on the list too lol.

Are we allowed to post links to mixtapes on here?

Only reason I ask is because I seen in the underground rap thread, they were doing it over there so I didn't know if we could do the same in this thread also?

                                Okay...what about best hip-hop duo/group albums?

This one is harder for me because I'm less inclined to include Black Star and Madvillain on a "best hip hop duo/group" list because they've only done one album each.

Either way, OutKast is at the top of my list. Wu-Tang is great, I love the debut, but since a lot of the solo stuff outshines the group (for me) I can't really count them higher than OutKast when Boi and Dre brought it straight through 4-5 albums.

I'm not a big NWA fan either. I understand their influence with the production and West Coast ****, but Eazy-E just sounds like a whiny bitch to me.
