Tuesday night has officially become another non-tv watching night.

Awesome episode tonight...left me hanging like none other!

It's currently averaging 6.2 this season. It started with a 7, dipped to a 5, and now is back to a mid 6 and climbing again.

Still.. with a 6.2 average the show is getting killed... amazing.

I fear for Fringe since it's pulling in a 4 to 5 each week which is still a heck of a good number considering there's a lot of stuff competing for TV Viewers attention.

          This past episode was great.

Dunham is so convincing. The acting on this show is actually very good in comparison to a lot of dramas. Heck, in comparison to the other JJ productions like Alias and Lost. There are a few weak actors, but the important characters all do a great job of portraying their characters.

If you aren't winning the night, anything can get canceled. The networks don't understand that if you go up against a top show or 2, you can't win. They think they have to win every night and time slot. There is no, lets get good average ratings on a night where we know we can't win.

Interesting-I'm not an expert, but I believe that the Nielsens ratings put a lot of weight behind the 18-49 year old demographic, which Fringe has done very well with. This week ending November 30th Fringe was tied with Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Brothers And Sisters for 18th place in that demographic. That makes it the SECOND highest rated new show in that category after The Mentalist (which I'm tempted to give a try). I think Fringe is a shoo in for renewal.

                Was tonight's episode a re-run?

                *EDIT

Should've read the posts, that sucks. So much for my Fringe fix.

Well that was a pretty tense episode. In my opinion, that was one of the better episodes of the season so far

                          Re: Fringe anyone?

This show gets better with every episode. It's got a good pace, interesting story telling. Not a lot of time is spent on filling 55 minutes of an hour time slot with anything. All of it is relevant.

I am confused, however. Dunham seemed a bit too convinced too quickly that Mitch wanted to save her. If that was the case, why was he so quick to tell his wife to kill her? It's just very conflicting. Kinda frustrated that no one mentioned this.

That being said, I do believe he wanted to save her. It just doesn't explain why he wanted to kill her to avoid suspicion. Why go through the trouble of saving her if you'll just kill her because she figures you out?

Also, it seems like the writers are in full throttle now to eventually get Dunham and Peter together.

Tonights episode was good. Better than what it has been leading up to now. Every episode though has me wondering where they are taking this though....I'll keep watching....

Any idea where I can watch this from the first episode? Love Lost and Heroes, and someone compared it to those two shows plus X-Files (which I have never watched).

I think she was too flustered at first to, and that mixed with probably not wanting to believe she had another traitor on her hands just led her to write it off. And then I think he knew that Olivia had an uncanny way of figuring things out with a little bit of evidence, especially after she helped save his life. So when his wife told him she was there, he knew she was onto everything
