I can't wait. I'm so sad for it to be over, but I'm so excited to see how they finish everything off.

      Re: Fringe anyone?

I haven't watched last week's episode. I will. I'm going to make sure I watch the finale live on Fox.

Gonna be sad to see this series go.

2 hour finale as well I'm definitely watching. Its been a damn good ride and I'm glad I got five seasons out if it after what fox did to the other shows I've watched. (See: firefly/dollhouse/human target)

So sad this show is ending. I've fallin madly in love with Anna Torv these past five years. I'll miss her. That is until the entire series comes out on Bluray.

Yes, for once Fox didn't make a decision based off just the numbers.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

They actually did, just not just ratings. Friday sucks for ratings, so its no guarantee that a new show would do any better. Add to it that FOX got the show for basically free. You don't have to spend money for an unknown amount of ratings and you can make a little bit of money with no production risks.

They made the decision because of money, in the past they haven't been offered shows for free. I'm surprised they didn't burn through them all before the end of the year though.

After watching last week's episode it's interesting to see how complete the story is becoming.

In essence it is a story about a father and his son, and it isn't even the father and son story we thought it was.

It all makes me appreciate the journey so much more.

Yeah this season has been fantastic. Season 4 was frustrating because they seemingly undid everything up until that point. I hated seeing Peter and Olivia apart, after they had finally come together in season 3. I especially hated Walter hating Peter for awhile. Thankfully, they moved past all of that.

It also makes the entire story from the first season make sense, there was always the question as to why September took some sort of special interest in Walter and Peter, and now all that makes complete sense.

I was kind of surprised nobody brought up the fact that they have a spare Observer implant hanging around, even if it wouldn't work for some reason or was flatly refused by September.

They changed his dna or something like that. So I think they would have made it where he couldn't just put it back in. Plus they already have a plan, so that most likely isn't part of it since it hasn't been mentioned on the tapes.
