      Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11

This is on my short list of favorite T.V. episode titles ever. It just screams Fringe.

As to the episode itself, just the usual Fringe greatness. I love that the show runners for this series aren't hand holders. Watch each episode, and pay attention all the time. If you can't do that and get lost or confused, too bad.

Some people are upset about the loss of the previous Fringe narrative/universes or the abandonment of the "Monster of the Week" stand-alone episodes, but I'm not one of them.

I love the Observer controlled Dystopian future and am glad that they chose to wrap up the series with this story-line.

For me only Battlestar Galactica is Fringe's equal as a sci-fi series, and depending on how they end this tale, Fringe may stand alone, IMO of course.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I don't mind the future stuff, but I desperately miss crazy Walter. I know we still have kind of nutty Walter, but everything is so serious we don't get things like Walter making a milkshake in the middle of the night in nothing but an apron, or asking Olivia if she wants to taste his pudding.

          Re: Fringe anyone?

Haven't watched the episode yet, but I guess it was safe to assume the show would head in this direction.

What I like about it is they are purposely catering to the hardcore fans of the show. This change isn't something casual fans would enjoy.

So despite all of those things we do want (monster of the week, Walter being nuts), I think we enjoy these because it tells the whole story. I thank Fox for allowing Fringe to get to that point - to know they only have a couple million fans left, and instead of trying to find those old ones, making sure that the ones that stuck with it get the story that matters to the writers and hardcore fanbase.

Oh I understand. You're still watching so I know you like where the show is. I still miss the monster of the week episodes as well.

As for the s5 premiere. It was decent. Felt like a pilot for the season. Just time spent to get everyone together and let us know what their season goal will be.

Can you tell BSG to stop sucking in season 3? I loved the first two seasons and through nins episodes of season 3, nothing has happened and it drove me nuts.

I had to stop watching. Can't get through it.

Fringe, thankfully, remains strong for me.

They really missed a golden opportunity, should have had it end December 21st. It's even a Friday.

Other than the funky date, why would that be significant?

100 episodes is a nice number for Fringe to go out on. Of course I would have liked to see more episodes this year and more seasons too, but I'm not sure that we would have gotten this incomparable storyline that we're getting to finish up the series if things had played out differently. When all is said and done, I'll have nothing to complain about.

Five seasons for a show isn't bad. I know you're not arguing against that. But I bring it up because the constant cancellation rumors might have helped Fringe become the show that it is.
