I really enjoyed this week's episode. It was something really different plot wise, and I love how the two (1 & 3) universes are starting to mesh together for Peter and Olivia. I'm starting to accept this as the beginning of the end. While I would love a season 5, if it doesn't happen, at least everything is gonna be wrapped up decently.

Re: Fringe anyone?
So, not exactly sure I get what happend at the end?
Has Nina been replaced this whole time?
And was Olivia abducted in the store?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Fringe anyone?
That seems way too convoluted. A ruse within a ruse? Not to say it isn't possible, but that's just too much.
I think I'll stick with Nina Sharp being a shape shifter and Olivia now with the real Nina Sharp.
I guess now I'm interested in knowing why someone would want to pound Olivia with craziafhdsafdsfapan (can you tell I have no idea how to spell that?)"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Fringe anyone?
Cortexiphan
My take on the situation was Nina was replaced and Olivia was dosed with Cortexiphan to cause her to shift universes and was abducted in the B universe. As for why Jones didn't just cross over to get to Olivia, remember that one of his portal devices was taken by Olivia, so he might not be able to.Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
But I thought that if someone were to be replaced by a shapeshifter, it meant that that person was killed. Unless these new shapeshifters do it differently.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

Re: Fringe anyone?
Also remember Nina has a fake hand.
I don't think there were any universe crossing going on, there weren't any flashes that I saw. I think Nina was replaced and her hand is not real, so it could be recreated and used.
It could be Nina from the other universe, but who knows. Fringe will need to explain everything or no one will have any clue to what was going on.Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
We've never seen Nina from the B universe, nor William Bell from B. I always kind of assumed they were both similar to David Jones in that they had no alternate (perhaps because they were planted by the Observers? Would explain why they don't have alternates and why they are able to have such a strong grasp of all this advanced tech).
In this new timeline I do believe Nina is in the B universe similar to how William Bell was over there (remember when they wanted to talk to Nina about the cortexiphan they said they had to go to the (dimension) bridge).Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
Guess that was definitely Nina from the B-verse. I guess. They didn't really confirm that, but Broyles did say the A-verse Nina would be dead if it were a shapeshifter which I'll take as the writers' way of telling us it isn't a shapeshifter. So good guess from whoever said that.
The time Peter spent with September was also really nice. I imagine if this show were as big as Lost this episode would be advertised as the one that answers a huge question: The reason September is so interested in Peter.
Kind of explained the whole reason for the show existing as well. Enjoyed that explanation, though I wish they spent some time explaining why Peter's son being born to the right Olivia is so important for the future.
Perhaps, Peter's son helped create whatever technology makes the Observer's exist? But that creates a paradox in this timeline so I'm just going to stop guessing things.

Re: Fringe anyone?
I have to say, my interest in the cases is waning. I'm so enthralled with the details of everything, that the cases seem to be taking away from that. At least it was like that tonight. Now that we know what we know, maybe there will be less mystery to it all and the cases won't seem like filler anymore. With that said, tonight's episode was great.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans
