Hasn't Nolan stated several times he won't have Catwoman or Robin since he dislikes both characters.

Personally I wouldn't mind Hush (Dr. Elliot) or Black Mask.

I think at this point, I would prefer for Nolan to go with a more "obscure" villain rather than Penguin/Catwoman who really generate no interest in me.

It would be much more intriguing even to a casual fan like myself who has no clue who Hush, Deadshot or Black Mask are.

Not to be that guy who points out unrealistic things about unrealistic shows/movies.. but Penguin/Catwoman are extremely corny to me. But then again Hust, Deadshot or Black Mask could be too since I don't know them.

Hopefully that Clayface rumor is false. It's not that I think he wouldn't be a good character it's just that the concept would be pretty hard to execute in a realistic way.

You know you have problems when say, Dr. Freeze would be more interesting/realistic.

Really hoping for Catwoman to be the main villain.

Maybe saying the Riddler wouldn't be a part of the movie is part of some sot of really elaborate riddle.

In the end it'll turn out Nolan was just subliminally promoting his movie.

            Thank you.

I just don't see it, honestly. Have I seen a realistic "Catwoman" portrayed on screen? No, but I haven't really looked. Honestly, I think a "Batman" is corny enough, but he has just enough Bruce Wayne background for it to make sense. I mean he's well-funded, well-trained, male (yes, for the time being I will be sexist and say that this matters a lot), wears protective armor which is important, and his motive has been well drawn out.

Plus with these movies (or any superhero movie), I like seeing the hero as being dominant over everybody else, at least in a certain sense. For instance, Spider-Man went through a lot of training and understanding to perfect his heroics, while Venom just jumped right into costume and suddenly could rival SM like it was nothing. I almost felt like that when I first saw Hit Girl killing people in Kick-***, but it's comic-y enough to work. I wouldn't like to see a Catwoman like that as well. Just saying.

I know Nolan wouldn't do something like that to us, but I just want to be sure.

Didn't Nolan also say he'd prefer to do a villain that has not already been portrayed on screen before? I sure hope so, because I agree with you I find Catwoman would be corny, and would prefer to have a more obscure villain brought in,

I didn't mean to say unrealistic.. just corny. Now Penguin on the other hand would seem a bit more "unrealistic".

On top of corny, she would be just uninteresting. So she's going to try to seduce Batman and/or Bruce Wayne to distract him from fighting bad guys.

                  No thanks.

Penguin on the other hand would be a major let down from the first two villains. The guy isn't going to cause a type of threat as Raz or Joker. Therefore I don't care to see him in the final installment.

Riddler on the other hand... now that would be something. It would be similar to The Joker in terms of how dynamic they can get with it.

I definitely see where you're comin from on that. I was thinking of the possibilities and I thought the same thing.

Plus Riddler too borders the "corny" line.

Joker was able to avoid it beautifully, where as Riddler would definitely be more of a challenge.

But all comic book characters are corny in some aspect.

Right, so it goes back to me saying "not to be that guy who complains about comic books/vampire movies".... but....

With the precedent that Nolan has set with the first two, it'd just be weird to all of sudden have a Penguin, Catwoman or a Clayface etc. etc. thrown into the last installment. All three of those don't do ish compared to Raz/Scarecrow/Joker/Two-Face

Like I said from the very beginning, Nolan just set a high standard with the first two, and it definitely spoiled people like myself. He also picked the best characters to fit in with his realistic Batman World, and there's not too many villains left to choose from. So I understand the tough task ahead.

I dunno, a lot of Marvel's characters would be classified as pretty realistic and not too corny. That's neither here nor there though.

Personally I'd love to see the Penguin or Catwoman in the next movie.

This all depends on the script and how well the actors can perform their parts. The Joker had been done several times before, but not anywhere near as well as in The Dark Knight.

I say let the actors/actress performance determine who gets the role and who is in the next Batman installment.
