Am I the only one bothered by how batman looked? Not costume wise...I still can't get over how skinny he is and makes his head look big due to the mask part. If Bale had wider shoulders then it would look alright but each time he would appear on screen the first thing I would notice is his huge head. lol

I was also pleasantly surprised with Anne Hathaway as catwoman. She really portrayed her real well...

I wish the Nolan Batman costume was available to use in the Batman games...

I think many people need to take this Trilogy away from the Comics. This is Nolan's Batman Universe, which in my opinion has absolutely nothing to do with any comic or previous movie/cartoon/tv show.

huh? Nolan followed the source material and story wise its exactly like the movie/cartoon/tv show.

What do you mean that it had absolutely nothing to do with any comic?

There were actually some nods from past comic stories....

I think he's saying that, while the inspiration and nods from the comics and cartoons are there, everything that changed (Bane's venom and all that) is because this isn't an adaptation, it's an interpretation. Nolan took those ideas and storylines from the comics and turned it into his own Gotham Universe with his own takes on the characters and stories and such.

It was hands down the worst acted moment of the trilogy, taking the crown over pretty much every one of Maggie G's lines from TDK.

Which is the way movies should be approached rather than taking things straight from the pages of the comics.

Somebody please tell this to my friend. We had a long Facebook IM exchange last night, and the guy gave the film a 2 out of 5 because of the things that were inconsistent with the comics. I will spare you the lengthy conversation, but trust me when I say that this guy was a bit loopy with his "shoula/coulda/woulda" talk.

I didn't think it was a great moment either, but good lord I hated Maggie G. Don't think anything was worse than her for me.

Here's a direct comparison of the two Bane voices... the one from the original prologue, and the one from the theatrical version:

Voice sounds cooler in the original format but there would be a lot more complaints had they kept it. Would've been much more difficult to understand since there were still people as I left both showings saying they wish they could've seen subtitles.

Damn that original voice is chilling.

I agree with Beantown even though the theatrical does give it a megaphone effect.

Well, again... I wonder if there was a way Nolan could have just worked on the clarity of the voice without completely redoing it. When people complained they couldn't understand the voice, there really wasn't any other way about going around retaining the voice itself? Lowering the ambient sounds would have helped.

However, just watching that, it is much clearer in both versions outside of the IMAX version that I saw, including everybody else's voice. I can't wait to see this again in a regular theater or on Blu-ray, and see how much dialogue I actually missed from any and all characters.
