I hated that megaphone/speaking in a tin can effect from his voice. Oh well, I guess it is what it is and we can't do anything to change that.

I don't know what work it took for Nolan to change it the first time, but if it worked once, maybe it can work again.

Personally, I just want to petition to have two separate Blu-ray discs, one with the IMAX print and one with the 35mm print. If one also happens to have a different Bane voice, then so be it.

I do hope (or wish, maybe) that the DVD will give us the movie with Bane's original voice. That'd be too ****ing awesome.

The voice is definitely better, but some of the longer speeches would've had people leaning in and paying too much attention trying to understand what he's saying instead of being immersed.

They made the right decision if these were the two options, as sad as it is to say - that original voice is just awesome.

Interesting that someone is trying to petition changing Bane's voice, hope it's an option. You start the Blu-ray up and at the menu screen, you choose:

            A. Listen to Bane like he is speaking via a megaphone/in a tin can.
            B. Listen to Bane with a creepy voice, but beware, subtitles might need to be turned on.

Maybe it would work if it was George Lucas at the helm.

              SHHH!

I don't want to see a prequel where Bruce Wayne has to deal with Jar Jar Binks!

                  Thanks, this is great.

Original voice was more badass, and I do like it more. But there's no way you can have a whole movie with the voice like that. There's already enough people who had a hard time understanding Bane. Using that voice the entire movie would've been a nightmare.

Yeah, for a theatrical release the second voice makes more sense. After seeing it once or twice, though, its not a problem.

I would be really surprised if Nolan does give us that option for the home release. I would really love a "director's cut" of this series, but I doubt that will happen.

I agree, I doubt it'll be there in the DVD but it'd be incredibly awesome.

An option for the original voice would be great just to hear it. I also want to see Nolan do like a 4 hour extended cut even though I know that won't happen lol

Guys, let's keep the spoiler tag thing going for a week or so more. After that, I'd say it's a bit more fair game to start allowing free flowing discussion w/o spoiler tags.

I really liked it. I'm going to go back and watch it again. I watched it at IMAX and had a difficult time understanding the dialogue because of all the surround music.

All in all, I thought Nolan did a great job with the trilogy. I wouldn't call it my favorite trilogy, but it's in the top 5.

Ultimately,I don't think there are nearly as many "holes" in this movie as what some are saying. Besides, grounded in reality or not by Nolan, the entire concept of a single man dressing up in costume and taking on the entire criminal underworld of the nation's largest city is a ridiculously silly concept anyway. Despite the "realism" that this series injects, you still can't take it THAT seriously. If I really wanted to disect this film, or this series, I could find a million things wrong with it, and plot holes that could be filled. This is still a movie, about a "super hero", and as such, some of the belief needs to be suspended.
