Left/Right it doesn't matter, you are an actor, you make movies... you most likely have the intelligence of a high school drop out.
Most of what he said was relevant to the movie he just won the award for.

Why am I upset? Because it's stupid. What does his thoughts on Obama have anything to do with winning an Oscar.

      Answer me that.

Forget what he said about the new President, I was talking about what he said just before that.

I'll never get why people get so angry at actors using this platform to make a political statement. Its a free country and I wouldnt give a crap what anyone said if it was democrat or republican.

Dark Knight won some sound award that Slumdog was up for.

Not to mention what he actually said isn't going to breed hate or discord.

I won't respond because Longhorn already said we couldn't so you are already doing what he said would get the thread locked. But keep on man.

I'll never get that either. Penn only has a high school diploma but that doesnt mean he cant be well versed in politics or certain political issues. ****, I have 3 degrees and dont know much.

On another note, that Depp/Bale gangster movie is going to be kick ***.

Because everything that he said minus that was completely relevant to the movie.

Move on from the topic of Penn's speech. Any direction that such a discussion could go in - especially with the high politic content of his speech - would not comply with the TOS so let's try and keep it from going down that road, thank you.
