Sweet. I was trolling the net and found the other three posters

i wonder what made the "chosen one" approved over these three.

Because it's the most iconic, graphic and in your face one. These days, a lot of people pick the one that is closest to a comic book cover, and sometimes even consult comic book artists to design them. As a fan of the show, I agree with YP, but as someone who's been in a few of these marketing meetings, I agree with the one they chose.

It seems to put too much emphasis on it being a Fox series (because only Fox will have this sort of design for their own series) and gun-play.

I would have preferred an emphasis on being someone else. How does holding a gun express the main theme of the series?

Anyway, I'm excited for the new season. If someone knows a place where I can watch that unaired episode online please PM me.
I really hope that things turnaround this season (internally) and Whedon is allowed to fully flesh out his vision. FOX in a way murdered this show with those first 6 episodes and then brought it back to life but not on track imo.

Oh, yea, that's Fox marketing right there. I don't blame them. They are usually in your face and it's quite effective.

It just screams Fox marketing. Screams it.

It won't get a second chance, that's for sure. But, I think Whedon found the direction for this series and my understanding is that Fox held onto this over SCC because of the second half. They liked the story's potential.

Yeah....SCC you knew what it was and didn't have the possibility to grow a whole lot. I think Dollhouse has the potential to explode and be popular...

Then again, we all know from the NBA draft that potential doesn't always come true...

Question, is $43ish bucks the cheapest to find the Blu-Ray of season 1? I'm interested to pick it up, just want to pay as little as possible....

I haven't seen it cheaper than $40 but I haven't really looked anywhere. I would say its fairly cheaper than when it first came out, though.

Well Fox put out a release that Summer Glau's on board now for at least 2 episodes as someone working in the Dollhouse.

Makes sense really, plus Eliza in leather so i don't mind. I liked the other taglines better though.

                        Nooooooo! :

She was one of the MAIN reasons I couldn't stomach SCC.

I cannot stand this rotten acting, moon-headed, bug-eyed girl.

I love Dushku and hate Glau in equal parts. What do do?

One more week until Dollhouse goodness.

A note for Reaper fans, Ray Park aka the Devil is a recurring character. I'll keep to myself who he plays. (as it stands i kinda got spoiled about the plot in reading some casting news dammit)

By the way, LionsFanNJ, is there any show I like that you don't? You're in every episode thread and you post often. Good stuff.
