Re: Whedon Fans Unite! The official Dollhouse thread

So a Lot of info came out this week. Part of the Dollhouse's true purpose, Echo's (and possibly Victor's) backgrounds. And a little of how recruitment is achieved for the dollhouse.

Topher and Adelle made me lol,and Echo's outfit gave me a manreaction. All in all a good episode.

    next week's preview. WTF.

Decent episode. What we learned was great, but I thought the actual plot of the episode was rather boring. Amusing, but boring.

Previews are good liars. I thought that the dolls were going to wake up and remember things. They just remembered little clips and it wasn't that serious.

The ratings last night were the lowest for the series yet. Besides the 13 episodes in the can, looks like that's it for the show unless some miracle ratings upswing which won't happen.

It seems like they're moving too fast according to last nights preview... I mean... what's the point if what the show claims will happen, actually happens.

Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the show to begin with?

I guess it just means that the previews are lies. It won't happen.

The show is still a ways away from even drawing closer to the conclusion. We don't even know who Alpha is. The agent has slowed his investigation into the dollhouse as well. It seems like the story is centering mostly on Echo's awareness and her past.

Couple of reviews up already of tonight's episode has this as even better than Man on the Street. Sounds good.

I hate missing episodes on Fridays and having to watch on Saturdays.

After tonight, i'm sure of two things. 1. Dr. Saunders isn't the mole. 2. I hate Dr. Saunders, and seems like Boyd does as well somewhat.

I pray the ratings start swinging upward......

After last night, I don't know, I'm convinced that some of the management (handlers, doctors, etc.) are also dolls.

That would be a great twist.

It's just that Echo's handler, Boyd, seems too vocal and uncomfortable with the entire job. I know he does it well and he means well for Echo, but why does he do this? I always get the feeling that he doesn't necessarily agree with the Dollhouse and it controlling people. So, why take this job?

He's either a doll or the management (what's the name of the group again?) has some serious dirt on him.

Bump. Tonight's episode was great. The past 3 weeks or so has been some amazing episodes. It sucks we have to wait 2 weeks for another episode, though.

Agreed the episode was great. Didn't see the whole thing with Dominic coming at all. and Adelle's little side thing.

I'm glad we find out what the attic is/does after teasing about sending people there all season long.
