That happened to me with Mass Effect. I paused right before going back to the ship and nodded off.

When I had Comcast I would set the Sleep to 15 minutes . Now that I have Uverse I turn the tv off and goto sleep (no Sleep on the Uverse remote >:| )

Normally off, but I think I'm gonna try to go to sleep with it on tonight. I always worry about stuff and can't get to sleep.

Re: Falling Asleep: TV on or off?

Usually off but it mostly depends on what's on. Sometimes sports really distract me because I wanna see what happens next. But for the most part I keep it off. If I have trouble sleeping I'll turn it on usually to get my mind off of whatever's been keeping me awake. I like to have my mind follow light storylines from something like Fresh Prince late at night. Then I usually try to sleep on the commercials.

But I've never really had trouble falling asleep with the TV on. I used to have a TV with an ON/OFF alarm that I had set and I would just fall asleep with it on and it would automatically cut itself off.

I have the TV on, but the volumne is turned very low.

I usually have it turned to ESPN or Adult Swim, been that way for years.
