I really think this might be my favorite movie of all-time.

Re: Christopher Nolan + DiCaprio = Inception
I'm going to watch this entire thing when I can, but I'll just say that five minutes in, as much as I love everything that he's saying, I can't help but think that unless Nolan came out and said his intentions for what happened (where's a commentary, dammit!), then some things might have only been coincidence.
Note that I'm not saying these things are coincidence, but I'm rather making a general statement about directors and writers being given credit where it isn't due. I don't think this is the case for Nolan, but I really wish he made a commentary track that revealed all that this guy is going to reveal. I wonder if there are some things in here that he'll be given credit for that he didn't try to do, is all.
Also, this is very old. I'm surprised I haven't ran across this before, especially since it's marked pretty well by YouTubers.
Anyway, onto watching... (this guy is so Blzer)
EDIT: Finished watching it. It's fun to listen to, and unfortunately I've been spoiled so much from message boards that I heard most of the theories, but to hear somebody spell it out in one big strand is always good feeling. I heard some things I hadn't heard before though, too. I thought it was a good watch!Last edited by Blzer; 06-04-2013, 01:46 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Christopher Nolan + DiCaprio = Inception
As for the numbers, I really always loved the 528491 sequence, but I never took it into deeper account as he does for evidence of everything being a dream (probably because I never like to think that everything in the film is a dream so I don't look for evidence pointing that way).
The only thing I wish he did more of was do some statements toward the Academy and what their justification was for their BP choice alongside his elaborate explanations. The explanations are great, but if the crowd forgets why they were listening in the first place, it kind of takes away from those couple of times he just throws in: "And you wonder how a movie about a stuttering king won an Oscar." It was all great, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I had my own interpretations and things to bring up about the Mal suicide, and I'll bring them up later if I have time.

Also the part with how the song in the movie actually is a main theme of the soundtrack was something I never knew either.Comment
