That trailer for Legion was amazing, if only for some random old guy beside me going "what the **** is this crap?" halfway through it.

Awesome movie, amazing that it only cost around 30 million when movies like G.I Joe and Transformers have budgets in the 100 millions. The story was interesting enough and the characters were good.

Still i didn't like the main character, the actor was great. But i hated the way he handled the situations; however it did seem like he was a dick from the beginning of the movie when he was evicting aliens.

Man, I'm not a fan of sci-fi or peter jackson, but me and my friends went to see this the other day because of all the great reviews. All I can say is WOW. Phenominal special effects, interesting storyline, great acting by the lead, amazing action scenes. What else could I ask for in a summer movie? This is probably the best movie I've seen all summer, and I would be there at midnight for a sequel.

          Great stuff.

I think not knowing anything really about the movie helped the experience. Not at all what I expected and yet soooo very good.

Saw this last night and was very impressed.

A slight peeve of mine reared it's head though...

I never saw that in any trailer.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

It was the end to pretty much every 30 second trailer they played on TV for weeks on end.

I was really hyped for this movie especially with all the reviews but was sorely disappointed. I was waiting for the movie to pick up the whole time and it never did anything for me. I personally was very let down, but I went in with high expectations. Thought it was really bad overall. They basically tried to make a movie similar to Transformers and inject some emotion and politics into it, and I thought it just came out really weak and stupid.

How in the world was this movie similar to Transformers?

Even having seen that shot from the scene before, it doesn't make what is going on any less impacting.

But it would have been so much MORE if it hadn't been in all the trailers.

And how in the world do you watch District 9 and think it's a weaker transformers rip off ? Please elaborate.
