Get him to the Greek-Starring Russel Brand and Jonah Hill. I never heard of this movie until I watched it but it was hilarious. Russel Brand is funny and I've liked Jonah Hill in everything he has done. If you like stupid humor check it out. Some people will call it garbage but I'm easily amused.

I saw The Social Network and I was surprised at how much good it was. I really want to see Justin Timberlake in more movies now.Comment

I told people for weeks that at least half the people that go see this movie is going for Justin Timberlake. Especially the women and teen girl crowd. Kind of funny I hear more people talking about him in the movie then the actual movie itself and he wasn't even the main character in the movie.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

^ yeah good movies
I'm watching the first five minutes of Aeon Flux right now, and to be brief and brutally honest, this is one of the worse/cornier movies U have ever seen last night. If Charlize Theron wasn't hot enough to compete with the sun, this movie would be off by now.
The outfits look like they were designed by a younger Lady GaGa(not that I would know what that looks like) Charlize in skin tight white, niceeeee
EDIT: The graphics suck. This is a really bad movie, thank god charlize is bonnerificComment

I remember it well because I won tickets to a premiere screening of it from a local radio station and i was really looking forward to it but it was one of the biggest steaming piles of dog crap i have every had the misfortune of watching. Just a terrible movie and if it wasn't for Charlize's hotness would have been a complete waste of time.

For whatever reason, a lot of times when you mention JT as an actor people kind of react negatively to the notion. He actually is not a bad actor at all. He's no Daniel Day Lewis but in the few movies I've seen him in he has more than held his own. Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan weren't masterpieces by any stretch but you had to come away at least impressed with JT's performances.
It's not like he's just some pop artist who one random day decided to dabble in acting, he's been doing both since he was a kid.PS: You guys are great.

Life As We Know It
Caught a pre-screening tonight. This is a good combination of a movie which contained clichéd plot structure but strayed away from being too run-of-the mill for this kind of film. In other words, it got to the places that you would expect but it took a different route than you might expect. Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl were good eye candy throughout the movie, and the baby (like most) was absolutely adorable. The filming schedule must have been pretty spread out to let her grow probably as much as a year older (EDIT: turns out the baby was portrayed by three different actresses, all of them sisters... their parents must've been busy), as the film itself jumps through its seasons similar to how Juno did. In fact, one thing really pissed me off about this and I'm going to throw it out there right now... we all know that the NBA doesn't run through the summer, so why in the hell does this movie show the NBA running through the summer? I know there are summer leagues but this wasn't that. Anyway, just irritated me a bit.
There were many characters in this movie that had to help with the story's stability, but they were also in there for the minute giggles and frankly I could have done without most of them. Like I said with "cliché" moments, if you've seen one movie with these characters you've seen them all. Josh Lucas was the only person with a half-decent supporting role IMO.
This movie was somewhat divided; I don't mean this just in the sense that things start to go well then they don't then they kind of do again, but I mean in terms of focus. The first half is very baby-centric, and the latter half pertains a lot more to Duhamel and Heigl, where the baby is obviously used as a device to connect and/or separate the two. Said first half is what I really loved about the movie as I just love babies and it dealt more with internal resolutions, but it was cute enough to keep me interested anyway.
This movie works well with a female crowd, and it would help if you brought just one more along with you. Bring your wife, girlfriend, date... whoever if you plan on seeing it. For what it's worth, I enjoyed it with my company. On a final side note, I love how Pearl Jam got a song in this movie. Haven't heard them in one since Eddie Vedder's original soundtrack in Into the Wild.Last edited by Blzer; 10-07-2010, 01:51 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

IP Man- 8.8
I dont tend to watch much Asian or Japanese films but this one was amazing. Its the story about one of the talented Kung FU fighters.
A semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun. One of his students happened to be Bruce Lee which i found interesting as wellComment
