Superman vs. The Elite

The best of the of the DC animated movies. So good I'm sad it was animated. This would've been right up there with TDK if they made it the next actual Superman movie instead of whatever they're making. Still pretty close. Pushing that PG rating for those concerned. Intresting special features too.

Yeah, I was surprised by that one. I didn't expect it to be nearly as good as it was, but it turned out pretty well especially considering I never really liked either of them before hand (still don't like Hill).

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengence: Weak script and just a boring movie. If they would of had more scenes with over-the-top Nicholas Cage I would of enjoyed it more.

Yep. I fell asleep halfway through this and woke up with 25 min. left. I should have just kept on sleeping.

Just watched A Prophet. French gangster film. Really good movie. Highly recommend this

I watched Act of Valor this past weekend and loved it. I've talked to people who thought it was terrible, the acting was atrocious, the plot was predictable, whatever... I thought it was a stroke of genius that they used real US Navy SEALs in the movie. It made the movie much more realistic.

It will be a definite buy for Blu Ray in the near future.

Edit: I finally read some reviews and am blown away at how bad this movie was received. I understand the argument on the acting side of it but they were obviously not shooting for Academy award type performances here. These were real SEALs who were trying to lend the film some credibility as far as the realistic side of things go, such as the movements and the personalities of SEALs. I am sure most of them are not the most personable people around and are serious in nature and go about their business differently than most.

Malcom X -I haven't seen it since I was a teenager and a lot of it I didn't understand until now. Hands down for me Denzel's best performance and I can't believe he didn't win an oscar for it. I watched a couple Malcom X speeches and Denzel nailed it.

Great film is all I will say.

I thought they marketed it poorly when it was advertised, etc. and now after watching it I think Disney lost out on some $$$. It was a really good movie, hope the fact that it's doing really well in Blu Ray sales leads them to do a sequel

Saw That's My Boy last night. I wouldn't say it was terrible. There were a good amount of funny parts, but while watching it, you really get the impression that Adam Sandler is trying too hard to get back to the way his movies used to be in the Happy Gilmore/Billy Madison days.

Better then him not trying and putting out movies like Jack and Jill

This one looks better then his recent run of bad movies, but still wait till I can rent it or something

This is true. I haven't seen Jack and Jill, Just Go With It, and some other of his recent movies, but they looked bad.

I'm not complaining that he looks like he's going back to his old style, just some of the things in the movie made it look like he tried hard for the "wow factor."

I've never been much for Adam Sandler movies. I did enjoy a film he did about four or five years ago with Don Cheadle called Reign Over Me though.

ID4 Classic Will Smith sci-fi action movie. This is up there with Enemy of the State and I, Robot.

The Invasion. Decent alien invasion movie with Nicole Kidman as the lead.
The bluray is not much of an improvement over the HD-DVD version.
