Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Die Hard with a Vengence, Live Free or Die Hard, and A Good Day to Die Hard

Best Movie: Die Hard with a Vengence, awesome partnership with Samuel J, and GREAT villain and thought it was hilarious how Simon made him run all over the place with riddles especially the first task lol.

Worst Movie: By FAR A Good Day to Die Hard, no memorable villain, and Jai Courtney sucks balls

Best Villain: This is a tie between the Gruber brothers. Menacing and calculating were just played great by the actors.

Best Yippie Ki Yay Mother ****er:
    Spoiler

I hope they make up the 5th one for an epic 6th and last movie. John McClane saving the world from blowing up from the North Koreans or something. Just go all out Rated R cuss fest, guns blazing, giant explosions, record setting crashing of helicopters and planes.

Live. Die. Repeat. Edge of Tomorrow. Really good movie. Much better that what I was expecting. I'm glad I got this for $7 during Black Friday.

Well, yes and no. I know this is not the thread for this, but there are ways to do this somewhat economically. Even if you limit your meat intake and therefore buy less, that would be the biggest chunk of your grocery bill. Beans are relatively cheap and maybe you can find a farmer's market that has good prices on veggies. I'm definitely not fully there yet and doubt I will give up chicken/turkey/fish totally, but there are still some things that are "junk" and edible. For example, they do make chips that are basically potatoes, olive oil and sea salt. I changed my diet due to health reasons (though still no reaping the total benefits) and lost 25 pounds since last winter and I really don't exercise much at all. So, it really is about all the crap and additives these companies put in their foods.

Back on the thread: We watched Wolverine 2 tonight. The fight scenes are really well done. His Asian sidekick is really a cool character, but that one corny line near the end. They needed to re-think that.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Over the Christmas holiday I watched "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "The Interview." The former was great. Loved it. Entertaining as hell. The latter was funny but there were some dumb things going on. There was one scene at the end that reminded me of a Tarantino movie. Plus I watched it with my girlfriend and her parents. Was kind of embarrassing watching with them when Rogan and Franco were saying a lot of the stuff they were saying. At least they laughed! Anyway if Best Korea really was ticked off about the movie, it's really sensitive because that movie wasn't worth getting so worked up over. Glad I didn't pay full price in a theater to see it.

Now where's the slowpoke meme when I need it?

Also, the wife and I have recently watched Edge of Tomorrow, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and GOTG. Without going in depth, we enjoyed the hell out of all three.
I watched Edge of Tomorrow with my family not too long ago...I enjoyed it a lot. They did a really nice job of blending humor with action and it had a decent story to it (though I think there was one big hole in the plot).

I'm a Wolverine fan and really enjoyed this movie. Of course, I also enjoyed the Origins film that most seemed to dislike.

I am such a sucker for anything Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Watched "The Internship" on HBOGo; very much enjoyed it. Same old shtick but oh well, I like that shtick.

Also caught "Jersey Boys" Monday night. Enjoyed that one too, but on a different plane. That group was before my time, so I was surprised how many of their songs I've liked were done by them.

I been hearing a lot of great things from this movie, its all psychological and doesn't use the cheap scares you find a lot in todays horror flicks.

                          The Interview

I thought it was funny, you kinda know what you are getting into when you watch these guy's movies, especially how most of us grew up with them in our adulthood.

                          This is the End

Felt like rewatching this after the interview. I really hope these guys do another group movie about their real selves and get Michael Sera in it again, i love that dude.

The Equalizer, Lucy and Ninja Turtles. All good movies with the equalizer being my favorite of the three. Denzel is a bad *** and I pretty much like anything he's in.

This movie is genuinely creepy in every sense of the word. Yes no cheap Hollywood tricks. Just good ol fashion scares.
