Hurt Locker. Awesome movie and highly recommended if you're into war movies.

Big Fan - Really good. Patton Oswalt was really good in it. Seemed like a pretty accurate portrayal of some of the clowns I hear daily on the Jim Rome Show, too. Lol.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I saw Whiteout on Friday, it was not bad but also not very compelling either...It's cool if you like the snow and "weather" movies though..it has Kate beckinsdale from the werewolf/vampire movies in itStreaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Moon-3/5. Decent movie I was a little disappointed though after all the great reviews I heard. I have 1 question though that really hurt this movie for me.
SpoilerI don't understand why the company made all those clones. I know the obvious answer is to just replace a worker on the Moon and not worry about sending another human up there. But why? What was their logic behind this? Wouldn't it cost billions of dollars to make all those clones? Wouldn't it be cheaper to send a guy or a team up there for 3 years? Aren't you already paying them anyways. I wish they would of explained that more in the movie but financially it makes no since at all to me. I don't know the left me confused hopefully someone can come up with an explanation because the movie didn't give it.
Overall I did enjoy this though. It doesn't come anywhere close to topping District 9 as the best Sci-Fi movie of 09'. I would recommend this as a rent.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

I mean a 3 year mission at the very least requires 3 years of training/testing.
The clones are 100% up to speed right away, require no training, transportation, or amenities other than the little videos they get every once in a while. The clones did not get paid, as they served 3 years and then were killed. Its like the clones are like having an expert live on the moon forever doing exactly what you need him to do---for free.Comment

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
It wasn't anything revolutionary, wasn't hysterical, wasn't in the top 10 comedies of the past two years...but it was still good, mainly because, as you said, Carrey can actually make PG-13 comedy movies watchable and funny.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
SpoilerI never said it would be cheap. I said it would be cheaper IMO then creating hundred's or thousands of clones. And they send people anyways because the people who came to the rescue get relieved I'm sure and new people have to go up there.Last edited by Buckeyes_Doc; 02-05-2010, 05:30 PM.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment
