Sure as hell am glad I have a PVR!

I'm mid way through Episode 2 and the end is near oh no!!! Interesting to see how Anakin(sp?) has changed from episode one to midway through episode two and just linking back to Lukes training and how Yoda would talk about him being impatient and seeing how Vaders feelings ultimately saved Lukes life.

I can just see his feelings are a lot for him. I think that's pretty cool.

Kung Fu Panda 2. Great from a technical (PQ/AQ) standpoint. Very enjoyable, but not as good as the first one. Easy recommendation. 8.5/10

Legendary. Pretty good movie, especially being a WWE production. John Cena did a decent job. The 2 teen actors stole the show. Exceeded my expectations. 7/10

Just watched The Player starring Tim Robbins and about 70 other cameos from actors from the time. Great movie and a fantastic satire about Hollywood.

I recently picked up Cinderella Man on Bluray, and it was worth the purchase. Another classic boxing movie. It's up there with my all-time favorite movies. This and Hoosiers probably are my favorite sports movies.

Finally got to see Drive. It was pretty awesome. 4.5/5.

I can't believe it's not up for Best Picture.

Just watched Abduction, I wasn't really excited about it, but I rented it anyway. Pretty run of the mill adventure/action movie. I'm no critic, but it held my attention. I'd give it a 7/10.

The whole scene at PNC Park stood out to me the most because I'm a baseball fan, and that was cool. Nothing spectacular, but it was impressive, and was the coolest part of the movie for me.

That one girl was hot as hell in the scene where Lautner and the russian mafia boss were just sitting in the seats talking.

And was it me? Or did Karen have some big *** eyebrows?

I fully agree. One of the best movies I seen in a while.

Chocolate - Its been awhile since I've seen this, so a lot of the fight scenes were still pretty fresh. Honestly, I think this is put together better than Ong Bak. The only thing I have a slight problem with are the pace of the fight scenes in that sometimes they appear to be kind of slow, but considering how awesome they structure the scenes and stunts its easily forgiven. There's a lot of humor in this, too, which seems to be tongue-in-cheek.

Seeing another movie with the title "Chocolate" made me think of this:

Bullitt - I had to watch this thanks to Drive. For some reason I was thinking there were more similarities and while Driver and Frank Bullitt are pretty blunt, cold and calculated, that's about all they share. I never realized how truly tight and concise Bullitt is. There's really not many, if any, wasted scenes. Plus, the chase scene while not as stylized as modern cinema (it would be interesting to see how they would have filmed it today), is still a great chase scene as Bullitt completely owns the baddies, literally making their hubcaps fall off. Jacqueline Bisset was mighty fine, too.

Its movies like this and Dirty Harry that make me sad there aren't any good cop games out.

                            Chronicle

Very well done, and a nice fresh take on the "found footage" genre of films. The acting was very solid, and the characters were nicely developed. For a $15 million budget, the inconsistency from good SFX to poor SFX was a little forgiving, but it makes you wish they could have had a bigger budget to iron some of these things out. I can see a sequel being possible, but if it comes out, it will have to be sooner than later. It's not one of those films which should become an enshrined legacy where you have to wait four years for the next one to come out.

I think most people here would like it, even if you're not a fan of "first person camera" movies. Like I said, it uses concepts that gives it a fresh enough take where it almost become a merger between POV shots and regular filming techniques.
