This means War, saw it with the lady friend on Friday, pretty funny movie. I liked it and we laughed quite a bit

Anyway overall it was very disappointing and I'm a fan of Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy so it was a bit of a let down. 1.5/5 from me.
I just finished watching it, took it for what it was an enjoyed it a lot actually

It seems like ensemble casts of too many funny guys on the same screen overall just suck. And this is going all the way back to "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World".

different folks different strokes I guess.

I usually really enjoy simple comedies like this as well but this one just made no sense whatsoever and had massive plot holes that ruined it for me.

Drive. This was an intriguing movie. Not a ton of dialogue, but the editing, camera work and actors' facial expressions did a heck of a job in telling an interesting story. The music was like an 80's flashback, and I appreciated that.

Only gripe is that I would've liked to have seen another 1-2 chase scenes, but otherwise, I really enjoyed the film and it's various twists, turns and character development.

I did see the American version and I must say I was pleasantly surprised they didn't do a hack job on it. It was also great. And dare I say, MORE gruesome/explicit/edgy than the Euro version
The US version also better represents the actual book.

Dream House - I enjoyed it even if it was a watered-down Shutter Island esque movie. Predictable and the trailor gave away too much but it kept me interested. 3/5

Rum Diary- I really liked this movie. Terrific cast and acting, Johnny Depp played his role to perfection. 4/5

Eh? IAMMMMW is considered one of the great comedies of the '60s with some really great bits. In fact it's one of my favorite comedy movies of all time though there should've been tighter editing as 2 1/2 hrs is WAY too long for any comedy movie.

Anywho, I will likely watch Tower Heist sometime today or tomorrow.

How was Alan Alda? He is the only reason I considered watching that movie.

He was ok but it wasn't a huge role. Pretty much played the two faced bad guy well but didn't seem to have a lot to work with imo.

This movie really made me think what the hell happened to Eddie Murphy? He just used to be so awesome and I know he's done a bunch of kids movies etc but I thought in this we would see the Eddie of old in a more adult comedy and he seemed really watered down and subdued.

                            Big Fish.

Forgot how really good this was. I'm not a big Tim Burton nut. In fact, I'm probably one of the few that hates The Nightmare Before Christmas. Big Fish has so much substance to it.

                                Watched a couple this weekend.

Drive. Pretty good. Not exactly what I was expecting. Great soundtrack.

Brake. Surprisingly good. Will immediately remind you of Buried. Not sure what to make of the surprise ending. I'd watch again.

Chronicle. Wasn't expecting much, but this was a fun movie. It got a little hokey toward the end. Loved the character, Steve.
