I like the subtle twists and turns in the story and Hitchcock's use of lighting, camera angles (as well as character staging) and music just adds to the suspense.
I've stared at this in my queue for weeks and continue to pass over it. I need to watch it. How in the world have I not watched more Hitchcock films considering I'm so angry at storytelling and the use of suspense in films?

Dial M for Murder and Rear Window may be in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. And The Man Who Knew Too Much is fantastic.

You better watch it soon. It is going away after June 30. Drives me nuts that Netflix does that, especially when they wind up adding most back a few months later.

Had the same reaction after seeing it. Went in with low expectations and walked away feeling pleasantly surprised.

Actually I haven't yet. And I haven't seen Take Me Home Tonight either. Missed them in the theater and kind of waiting to catch them on cable. That's what happened with Adventureland. Same with Donnie Darko, as far as the 80's time period movies I grew to like.

Fun. Ice Cube was great. Deadpool level of 4th wall breaking though.

                    The Next Three Days

Strangely, it's eerily close to a screenplay I wanted to write someday, only I couldn't get the technical stuff down by myself. Well, this film does that and then some. In fact, it gets so detailed with every aspect, the film's length almost dragged too much, yet at the same time was a good part of the build-up. There were a lot of side characters to follow, and follow what they were following... but the main characters still ended up being the focal point.

For watching it just on my Vita on Netflix, it was still intense enough that I was holding it up close without putting it down for over two hours. Not bad, just a bit "stretched" throughout its entirety.

Watching Project X right now. Literally 5 minutes in, and I can already tell this will be one of the worst movies I've seen in years. Might have to turn it off.

The Hangover creators made this piece of junk?

Yeah plenty of laughs throughout the movie, wouldn't be opposed if they decided to force a sequel on people like the Hangover keeps doing.

                              I'm 22

Girlfriend went to bed because she thought it was so bad. I paid for the rental though, so I'll stick it out. It's become somewhat bearable now.

Have 21 Jumpstreet for tomorrow though, so, can only go up from here I think.

I'm guessing more guys would like it than girls, but given that it's a "party movie," it probably also needs a "party atmosphere" to be most enjoyable. Get ten people in your house and blast it, and I'm sure there will be many laughs throughout the 90 or so minutes.

I gotta Redbox 21 Jump Street ASAP. Everyone here seems to love it.
