Social Network is also good but check out one of his earlier films 'The Game' starring Michael Douglas. That movie blew my mind when I was a kid.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Ah, I realized after I made the post that Zodiac was his, and yeah, I was obsessed with that movie. I've been reading up on some of his other stuff... Fight Club and The Game sound really interesting, and I've always meant to see The Social Network but everyone I know saw it without me so I've just never gotten around to watching it lol.
I think I fell asleep watching the Dragon Tattoo with my girlfriend's family one night, but I remember just being creeped the **** out by a couple scenes in it to the point that I wasn't sure I even wanted to finish it lol. I should probably try to push through those couple of scenes and finish it though.NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Draft Day and Social Network which was just mentioned are two of the better paced movies I've maybe ever seen. Just always moving, good use of background music, flashing back and forth/transitions, etc.
A lot of sentimentality for Fight Club, one of the movies I had on a rotation (U571, Negotiator, Boogie Nights also in that group) as I played Everquest for half a day at a time, great commentary tracks and all.
To this day I hear the godzilla roar during that Green Day song, and No Shelter was great from Rage Against the Machine.
My favorite absurd movie soundtrack growing up was Dumb and Dumber though. Second favorite probably Romeo and Juliet, they had to release a second even.Last edited by mestevo; 10-06-2014, 02:24 PM.Comment

It was a Zombie Fest earlier. I saw "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) and "Return of the Living Dead". Later, I plan to watch "Dawn of the Dead", the 2004 remake. Later tonight, "Zombieland".Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
It and Edge of Tomorrow I've recently put on while I'm doing other stuff (cleaning, playing Destiny, etc). Both with great casts and the movies flow really well and don't have to be careful about kids in the room like Wolf of Wall Street.
Wife does the same kind of binge watching. This kind of thing is why we don't hesitate to buy movies we like digitally on Amazon.Last edited by mestevo; 10-10-2014, 04:28 PM.Comment
