Absolutely. When you break it down, there's so many great scenes. The thing with John Candy is that it seemed he either did a brilliant movie (Uncle Buck, PT&A) or a dud. Not much in-between. He seemed like he was on his way to doing things outside comedy and doing them well before his way too early death. The other great thing about PT&A is how they interworked lines from the movie into the soundtrack. And the extra scene after the credits was brilliant as well.

Scrooged- Awesome cast especially with all the cameos. I knew the score sounded a little Nightmare Before Christmas-y.

Everybody calm down. You make it sound like it really happened. It's a schtick, a movie scene. A gag. Sheesh.Comment

Just saw Oculus on Netflix.
SpoilerDecent movie. Started out hard to follow but not bad. Didn't care much for the ending.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Very much enjoyed Interstellar. Worth the theater price to see it.
22 Jump Street was the biggest waste of time. I found very little funny about this movie, plus the trailer gave away pretty much the only unknown of the movie. Yikes!
Maybe I was in the wrong mood or too tired, but just couldn't finish The Lego Movie.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Christmas Vacation
My face hurts from laughing so much, one of my favorite holiday movies. The part for some reason that makes me laugh the most is when Chevy Chase unties the tree, it unravels everywhere and his hands get sappy then the next scene he's flipping through a magazine ripping pages and pulling on hair. Comedy gold.
