Interstellar: holy crap.

Space, quantum physics, whatever is crazy. So glad I actually read the plot via wiki before I watched. I was able to understand it. Probably equivalent to watching it multiple times and picking up things you didn't see initially.

I really liked the Imitation Game for its historic significance. It still possessed that "Hollywood" dramatic element that nearly every movie has of which I have grown tired.

Producing a movie probably has to be a tough call from this avenue. If you don't "hollywoodize" a portion of it, you're left with an Inde film product which can turn a lot of people off.

The erroneous naming of the computer was probably the dumbest thing about this movie. They actually romanticized his relationship with the computer.

Frozen. Finally got around to seeing this. Glad I did. Very good. Make me regret not having picked it up during the 2 for $32 Disney 3D blu ray sale on Amazon.com/uk

Maze Runner. It was alright. Not on my "gotta see this again" list.

I know what you mean and agree. This story alone was worthy of just the telling, without any embellishments as most movie truly are.

Finally saw Almost Famous. Never really realized what it was about. Especially loved the lead in scenes and the ending. Frances McDormand never disappoints and wanted more of her in this, but understandably was not. The travels of her son, William, was quite the expedition and sometimes I got distracted and couldn't get as engrossed as I wanted to. I'm not a big Kate Hudson fan and this didn't do any more for me along those lines, but the ensemble cast overall worked pretty well. Didn't realize Cruddup was in it, as he was in one of my favorites from 2014, Rudderless. Didn't realize Stillwater was a real group as well, though played a Southern Rock format, unlike Stillwater in this movie. If you've never seen it, worth a look, though it runs long.

Just saw Ex Machina.

Awesome movie. Easily one of the top 3 I've seen all year.

It got 90% on rotten tomatoes and I definitely agree.

Trying to decide between watching all of the Rocky or Star Wars movies. There is no wrong answer here. May go with Rocky and hold Star Wars for this fall to get me hyped for Episode VII in December.

I finally decided to sit through and watch The Godfather Trilogy this weekend.

Absolutely ****ing amazing. Everything about it was right up my alley.

Great storytelling, dialogue, characters, music, etc.

It was all so believable.

I veered away from them for years because of the length of the movies, but I'm glad I finally watched them all.

It's usually considered that the 3rd one falls off quite a bit from the other two and I agree. Seemed like it was partly a chance for Coppola to showcase his daughter, Sophia, who really was not a good actress. She is apparently a better film-maker.

I have a student that is absolutely fanatical about Star Wars. He is continually asking me either trivia questions or analyzing aspects of the movies. So, I need to watch the Star Wars movies just to review.

Speaking of the original Rocky and Star Wars, they came out around the same time while I was in 3rd grade. No two movies captured me like these two movies. I can't even count how many times I've seen these two movies and read the two books.

Yes, while it's not amazing like the first two, it does have some cool moments and it was interesting seeing Michael's story conclude the way it did. Anybody want an orange?

I certainly don't wish I could UNsee it like, a some movies lol.
