You guys who enjoy sci-fi should give 'Sunshine' a try. It has Cillian Murphy, Michelle Yeoh, Rose Byrne and Chris Evans amongst others, and was a Danny Boyle film (Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later, Shallow Grave).

The less I say about it the better, but AMAZING score, cinematography, and a cool idea that is well-executed about a mission to re-ignite our dying sun (due to cosmic condition that causes this; the sun will burn millions of years more).

Have a look, but wear sunglasses and don't look directly at it

Used that Redbox free online rental code for April like a champ. Watched at least 15 flicks.

The Wedding Ringer was pretty funny. Gone Girl was good up until the ending.
Mr. Peabody and Sherman was good (need to get the 3D version). Re-watched John Wick--always fun. Maze Runner was solid (ended up buying b/c there is supposed to be a 3D clip in the bonus features). The Giver was pretty good as well. Walk Amongst the Tombstones was good. So was The November Man. Solid action movies. Had to watch Interstellar again--probably my favorite movie of 2014. Matt Damon's character was such a tool. Didn't really get into The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay.

Caught Draft Day on one of the movie channels this weekend. 10 minutes in I knew it was trash, but kept watching to see how bad it would become. I felt almost insulted by how bad it was.

Watched Dallas Buyers Club last night. Great movie. McConaughey has really grown on me as an actor the last 7-8 years.

Saw Kingsman: The Secret Service. Was looking forward to this despite SLJ. I like the premise of the movie, but it took a major turn that I really didn't like. Overall, it wasn't what I expected. If they do a sequel I hope they change up the formula a bit.

Yeah I see where you are coming from. I didn't expect too serious coming from the guy who made kick *** but I enjoyed the wackiness of the movie and the homage to spy flicks. I mean it's already over the top if Colin Firth is kicking ***.

I too was hesitant on SLJ but I actually thought he did a pretty good villain. I also thought the blade leg chick was awesome

Just finished watching Guardians of the Galaxy after reading about in the Avengers Age of Ultron. And I had wanted to see it for awhile. So I figured now would be a good time to watch it. It was such an amazing movie. The action was intense right from the get go. There was some comedy which loved, mostly from Rocket.

Just finished Kingsman. Best movie I've seen since Guardians of the Galaxy. Was extremely over the top and a lot of fun.
