The physical acting from Leo, in my opinion, is what sets his performance apart.

I just watched Goldeneye for the first time in a decade. Lot of scenes I forgot about. Fun movie

Finally saw Star Wars The Force Awakens. Somehow I managed to avoid all spoilers. I really enjoyed this film. Great job, Mr. Abrams.

Getting caught up with the Rocky films since they're airing on AMC. I had seen the first and third before previously, but it was good to rewatch them. I'm through the first four and currently on #5, and nearly a half hour in I can't really complain (I see that it is scored lowest across the board). Sure, all of the films are kind of "the same," but they aren't hard watches, unlike a couple of the Star Wars and Harry Potter films were for me.

EDIT: Just finished Rocky V, and admittedly I liked it much more than 3 and 4 (probably more than #2 as well). Maybe because it was different, not sure what... but it was very, very good. Sure, he doesn't fight in the ring and I was disappointed in that, but there was a valid reason from the story line's perspective and I was more than okay with that.

Anyway, onto Rocky Balboa! Hopefully Creed stays in theaters long enough that I can get to it.

Must mean you avoided the official thread this morning when somebody didn't care whether or not you've seen it haha.

I stayed off any sites that discuss films and unsubscribed from the Force Awakens thread here on OS, too. Amazingly, I'm on Twitter all the time for work and not one person spoiled the movie there; I was really expecting that right after the viewing started, lol.

Saw the Revenant a couple nights ago. Holy crap it was brutal. I loved it. It was a little long but the last 20 minutes were absolutely exhilarating.

                LOL, yep.

I've always thought Rocky V got a bad wrap. I thought parts of the story made a lot of sense, particularly the reason why Rocky has to retire, and you certainly understand why his son would harbor resentment towards him. Not sure what fans were expecting after IV anyway; no way Stallone could've built up another opponent that would've topped Creed, Lang or Drago.

Sicario: very cool drug war thriller. Benicio del Toro killed it.

We watched this last night, too.

Emily Blunt was great and a nice character to "enjoy the ride" with, but the whole film was about Del Toro who absolutely kills these types of roles.

I can't really remember the last movie to leave me in such a morally gray zone.

The cinemetography was amazing in Sicario and with the music made it feel terrifying.

The Martian. It was weak. And overrated.
