She was clearly the far and away top actor in this film versus it being more of an ensemble starring cast as in her other non-HG movies.

A great date type movie. Also a good. inspiring movie to show the young women in your life.
Liked this movie a lot as well, and Joy's development throughout the movie was one of the best displays of character development I've seen in a movie recently. Lawrence was awesome. De Niro was De Niro, which is not a bad thing. Wish Cooper's role was a tad bit larger because of the chemistry the two had in Silver Lining's Playbook and in their scenes in this.

I'd rank this above American Hustle but below Playbook on my Jennifer Lawrence/D.O.R movies.

Simply amazing. Great cinematography,. Great directing. Great acting.

This is a Masterpiece. The brutality and resiliency is like no other I've seen in a movie.

      I watched it tonight.

      Awesome movie.

Creed last night and then this tonight. It's been a good few days of movie watching for me.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - I was interested in seeing this when it was first released, but the lackluster reviews kept us away. I don't regret not seeing it in theaters since the action scenes aren't very bombastic, but I loved the cast. Cavill and Hammer had some good chemistry and it was witty enough to not be eye-gouging, but Guy Ritchie's streamlined style probably helped a little bit. One of the few movies I've seen where I was immediately hoping for a sequel.

I finally got around to watching Birdman the other night for the first time. Or should I say, trying to watch it. I fell asleep around thirty minutes in and absolutely nothing I saw makes me want to go back and finish. Just couldn't get into it at all.

Ironically enough, he also directed The Revenant. Makes it the reason I will give Birdman a shot, though I know they are two completely different stories.

Keaton and Emma Stone were great in this one.

Kingsman: Secret Service - I thought this was great all around. The main cast hit all their marks. The action scenes all felt fresh and bombastic even though Matthew Vaughn is really banking on his style now. The only negative I have is I wish they spent more time fleshing out Roxy and didn't make her contribution during the climax essentially pointless.

Revenant was great. Hardy stole the show for me. Had not seen a gritty movie like that in years.

                        Ant Man

Was exactly as I expected it to be, but since everyone else here finished watching the film with positive reviews, I maybe began to expect a little bit more.

I just don't think it really brought anything that I was too fascinated in. The shrinking was cool, but that was about it. I didn't like the ants that worked with them, and much of the story stuff outside of it was not fantastic. Michael Pena was certainly funny though.

I don't know, I mean it was good but I'm glad I only spent Redbox money on it, I guess.

Pretty good movie overall I suppose... definitely not for the feint of heart.

I loved it...I can see why everyone I know of all ages loves this movie. It was magical....and hilarious seeing such a young Sean Astin and Josh Brolin. Chunk was cracking me up too.
