Rockwell is awesome. If you've never seen The Way Way Back, it's an off the beaten track, coming of age movie. The only weird thing is that Steve Carrell plays an *******, which doesn't fit with his typical character. But it's well worth seeing.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
1917
That was a fun experience. The direction was phenomenal, having a one shot take style made it really tense in parts.
It’s not the best movie of 2019 but I see why Sam Mendes was nominated.

Joker
Watched this one tonight, finally got time to sit down and watch it. Joaquin Phoenix was phenomenal. Pretty violent but not as bad as the Tarrantino film I saw a few days ago. 8/10PSN-Shugarooo

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Last night I saw Little Women, and now I've seen all of the Oscar BP nominees. I'm amazed that Greta Gerwig got a Best Director nominee for Lady Bird and didn't get one for Little Women. I would have replaced Phillips with her easily. There was a lot to handle with about six main characters (seven if you count the relentless score), timeline jumps that still creative a strong narrative flow (without getting lost in it), and of course bringing the best out of her acting pool.
As for the whole BP lineup, although the plot is paper-thin and the gimmick calls for most of what makes this film elementally exceptional, I still think the winner will be 1917 (and I think Sam Mendes will pick up Best Director with Roger Deakins for Best Cinematography). I'm falling back a bit on Marriage Story for a #2 since the acting in Little Women was outstanding as well, and think that Parasite might actually pick up some steam on the back-end.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
