As I mentioned earlier, "flash-sideway's" aka a parallel universe.

I agree that Sayid waking up is obviously not Sayid. The most obviously guess is Jacob for the reasons you stated.

The temple thing is a little absurd, I never woulda guessed the Samurai and John Lennon's weirdo brother were gonna play a role in Lost.

Yea, we get that, but you can't say the plan worked and the flight didn't crash because Jack is in two places at the same time.

I mean, the plan worked. But, it also didn't? It's like they made both sides happy. There's a reason and perhaps it's like what was mentioned above: maybe there are two concurrent/parallel realities and now the two need to self-correct.

Eko was alive in front of him(smoke monster) and smokey knew the past. Locke on the other hand was off the island and came back dead. How do you explain that hole?

The first signal to everyone that the other timeline isn't "right" was the fact Desmond was on the plane. He was never on the original flight 815, he's what caused the crash inadvertently

Also, Shannon wasn't on the plane this time and she was in the original crash.

I am enjoying this alternate timelines storyline, I was hoping they'd take it in this direction.

I think the Man In Black/Smoke Monster has been Christian as well as the majority of dead people we've seen on and off the island.

Yeah... that's what I thought as well. The MiB is always the dead person you see walking the island.

He can take any form he wants it seems... as long as the dead body is lying around.

I don't think it's a hole. It's just not being explained for you to understand. We've seen the Smoke Monster do a lot of things and you're implying that him knowing Locke's thoughts is a ridiculous notion?

He used Locke's body to convince Ben to kill Jacob. We don't even know why he had to be Locke to do it. There's a connection there so whatever the monster did, I'm sure it makes sense.

But, none of us is going to know what he did. I don't think we could possibly know until we learn more about his reasons for wanting to go back "home."

Also, its been shown Jacob has the ability to show up off the island, as he was part of what got some of the Losties to the island in the first place as new "recruits" in the black/white battle. So its safe to assume the smoke can do it in some form as well.

I like his last line: "I'm disappointed in all of you."

It was as if he wanted his first taste of being the boss. It was his moment to be authoritative.

The only thing is that the MiB never took over a dead body, just the dead person's form.

So, why are you not happy with the direction of Season 6?
