Someting that caught my attention that i found curious. Richard said Jacob touched him and therefore he couldnt die, right? Well does that apply to the other candidates that he touched? If so how could Locke die, he was touched by Jacob? Was it because Locke died off the island and maybe you can't die on the island if you have been touched by Jacob?

I believe that the candidates cannot commit suicide.

One thing I was wondering is it possible that Ben actually did go to the MIB but it was omitted on the show and it just skipped to him appearing to go to the good Losties and seemingly refusing the MIB? If he went to the MIB and it was not shown, he could be a plant with the good guys, only to betray them somehow in the end. The show has done tricks like this in the past.

What? When did he have time to go to the other island? When he was running through the woods being chased? Was it after they started walking back to the beach with him a few steps behind? There is no way anything else happened. Could he betray them in the end? Sure, but he didn't go talk to MIB unless he made the whole plan while talking to him.

I don't think so. Jacob can give them gifts, but it didn't say that Jacob gave it to everyone. It may be that you can't die until your role in the plan is completed though.

p_rushing - it's not a real time show like 24 is all i'm saying so who knows what might have happened off-screen. I know it's doubtful that something like that happened, just putting it out there.

I get what you're saying, but the scene was shot continuously. Ben followed Illana back to the beach.

Yup. There is no way Ben had time to go all the way to the other island and back. That's even more ridiculous than most of the time lapses in 24.

They got back to the beach at the same time. I don't know how you think something happen while they were walking back to the beach. Unless they both went to the other island. If Ben went somewhere, don't you think they would say where have you been? If they both went to the other island, don't you think they would ask where have you been when they got back?

I think my sense of paranoia is just so high because it's Ben, I never dreamed he'd be on the "good" side, LOL

Me neither but I'm glad he did, same with Sayid.

Lets hope they don't have characters go back to their original sides due to some stupid speech about destiny.

For me the two most interesting people in this coming battle are Kate, and even more specifically Sawyer.

Des is still the one I think Jacob was talking about when he mentioned someone coming to the island. I don't think he meant Widmore.

I agree. They are both in the same boat as far as being "good and evil" and as it turns out theya re in the middle of this good vs evil. At this point they are "with" the evil side, but neither has been given an opportunity to choose yet.

I'm hoping this week we get a "Sawyer centric" episode because it seems like we haven't seen that dude in about 3 weeks now. Another character of interest to me is Richard. I wonder if/when we'll get the full story on his background.
