Now that he's off the island, I don't think he could live forever. In the final episode, Alpert got a grey hair when the gold light went out. So I'm guessing that now he isn't on the island, he can't live forever.

I thought the gray hair was before the light went out?

Yea, it was a bit after Miles found him.

I took it as Jacob had passed the torch and everything he had promised or given to others died when a replacement was found.

That or Jack wanted to give Alpert the gift of death in life. Probably Jack's first and only real act as Protector.

I figured MiB gave Richard the gray hair when he knocked the crap out of him.

I wonder where Richard even goes since he has been on the island since like 1867. I don't think his home in Tenerife from "Ab Aeterno" will be still there.

Possible. I guess only Lindelof and Cuse really know.

There's a Lost story I wouldn't mind watching. They could call it: It's A Wonderful Life, Richard.

Maybe I was wrong, I remember Miles and Richard being on the boat when Miles told him about it, so maybe it was just before, I'm not sure anymore. So many scenarios and questions are going through my head.

My real big question is, what happens to Jin and Sun's baby in the other timeline when they come back from the island as the oceanic six?

Like, who took care of their baby? Sun became a "missing person" on yet another trip (this time to Guam) and her daughter is raised by Sun's insanely rich parents.

Does anyone plan to go back and watch these again soon hoping to see if they spot anything in the earlier seasons?

I already ordered the blu-rays that come out in August. I'll watch the special features stuff as soon as I get it. (They filmed a bunch of mini stuff and scenes that answer questions, and have 20 minutes more on the fineale).

I probably won't watch the whole series again until January or so, though.

He has been on and off the island during his tenure with Jacob. Remember when he recruited Juliet? When he went and saw John? I am sure he could find something.

The two I am most concerned about are Kate and Sawyer. How in the hell were they supposed to have normal lives?

Yeah, I assumed he had some secret identity or a way to have one. Ben always did.

Anyone know if they are going to have the pop up words on the screen like ABC does when they show a rerun? An option to turn the feature on/off would be sweet.

The flash sideways (or whatever we're calling it) was purgatory. Everything that didn't occur in the flash sideways was the reality.
