Didn't like Ted's story in this episode. Seemed like a massive waste of time with yet another girl going "you'll find her Ted".
Next week will probably be a good episode with a more dramatic storyline. That's been the trend thus far in the series. Do a semi-serious episode focusing on a secondary character, then do an epsiode with a humor angle and no progression towards the main point of the series, then do a serious episode with an angle towards Ted.Twitter

I also found the date to be pointless. I didn't learn anything from it. I guess Ted did learn something - he wants to be with someone that likes him for him. That's good, but it sure took this guy a long time to figure that out. He's over 30 for goodness sake.

This season has been incredibly lame to the point where I think I am done with the show. They've killed Robin's character and have basically neutered Barney's and all for nothing other than maybe trying to target the chicks out there who like this crap.
This is a show that I wish died last season since season 4 was pretty stale as well though it had its good moments. So far through this season has hardly had any good moments and it is clear they will continue to milk the show until it is set to be canceled. Pathetic since it used to be my favourite comedy. Does anyone actually care who the mother is? I used to but not now.
I am convinced sit-coms should only be a max of about 3 or 4 seasons.Comment

I agree with you on many points. I did not laugh during last nights episode. I kept hoping this series would ends soon because it has grown stale. Though I thought last season was tolerable enough to watch and slightly enjoy, I was still growing tired with the show. It's just not doing it for me anymore.Comment

I still think this show is really funny as well; however, I think the whole Robin & Barney plot was a bad idea from the beginning.
