Re: Flash Forward
I agree, he's lying.
My thinking is he is probably one of the masked men (or doing something very wrong if not working for them) and is using pure semantics to illustrate his thoughts. He knows he'll end up doing something wrong and he knows that when he's caught, he'll be as good as dead.
I was also thinking that he might be the father of the baby. Of course, he probably wouldn't know that from his flash forward, but I keep thinking that he's the father. Either way, the father is going to be someone we've already met."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

As for the future I think some will be able to change them and some will not. I'm really intrigued about the guy and his military daughter. That storyline has my interest.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Flash Forward
I'm all in. There are obviously personal storylines and characters that I care about more than others, but the primary storyline is so interesting that I will watch to the end to see how that turns out no matter what.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Flash Forward
SpoilerWith the already alternate storyline in it, "Perfect record of no accidents" paraphrase, also if its a world wide black out and the billboard ties into Lost will this be included in the last season of lost?Last edited by rockchisler; 09-27-2009, 06:26 PM.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

Re: Flash Forward
Well, it'll be hard to make it a multi-season show if the premise remains "Flash forward."
I fear we may get a bit Prison Break with this one. But we'll see. Maybe they already have a plan just in case because everyone's future is obviously at the point of the season's end.
Unless their "out" is the FBI head (or whatever he was) asking if this could happen again. Maybe it will, though, I imagine that'll be somewhat stupid.Comment

It's just a shout out to Lost and one of it's brands."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Flash Forward
Loved the pilot, absolutely killer. One episode in and I'm already enthralled.

Re: Flash Forward -- Season 1
Did anyone else easily figure out every twist and turn?SpoilerI mean who didn't see it coming that the one guy might be dead in 6 months because he didn't have a vision?Comment

Re: Flash Forward -- Season 1
That's not really a twist as some of us are speculating that he won't be dead at least not the way you think as he could very well be one of those guys that come into the office looking to kill his partner.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Flash Forward
Spoiler of sorts from season 1, since this isn't the fringe thread I figured it's best to put this in spoiler tags.
Spoiler
In the episode with the killer butterflies, the guy who jumped from the building had a plane ticket in his apartment from Oceanic Air.Comment
