I waited until midnight to see the regular version, even though 3d was out first everywhere.

Really enjoyed the movie. I agree that at the very least it was much better than the 2nd one on all counts. Also agree that the new girl is better than Fox.

One thing though...

They didn't really leave an open plot for another movie. So do you guys think this is it, or is there something I missed?

with Megatron, Starscream, ironhide, the old inventor and sentinel prime dead who else is there? I mean they still got the hatchlings and could possibly have galvatron but what else?

I think deceptecon fans will hate this movie.

Saw this last night in IMAX 3D and like others have said - 1.) The special effects are unbelievable, and 2.) The new chick is hotter than Fox IMO.

But overall though I still didn't leave the theatre feeling like I spent money on a good movie. I spent half the movie confused trying to figure out the plot and the other half smiling because the fight scenes with the Transformers was unreal.

These Transformers movies could be so much better if they just took the time to write a better script with legit plot points. Oh, and Shia LaBeouf really annoys me as an actor. His acting has never impressed me and he spends most of this movie spazzing out and screaming.

I really liked this. I went to Transformers 2 at midnight and while I didn't hate it as much as others, it definitely started dragging but this one was entertaining the whole way through and definitely darker than the other two movies.

I'm usually not a fan of 3D but I think I'll go that way for this movie if it's as good as people are saying.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Like many have said, the first half of the movie is hilarious at times. Kept my interest throughout by actually having a pretty good plot.

On problem I had though was:

I wasn't happy with the way they used Shockwave. He was just kind of there. Even though he was announced as a main villain, he seemed king of like he was somewhat disjointed from the rest of the Decepticons. Also really though he should have been able to talk, but oh well.

I'm guessing that ends these movies seeing as all the main Decepticons died.

I was disappointed. I was entertained but at times some of the plot points didn't make sense.

Humans are supposed to be slaves but let's start killing civilians just because? Another disappointing ending. Megatron dying in what seemed like 2 seconds???

The movie was way too long for no good reason. I really enjoyed the 1st but 2 & 3 didn't do it for me overall. I did love the intro and the plot but the execution wasn't the best. The special effects were great. I know I'm all over the place but I'm half asleep lol.

Just got back from seeing the movie, went to the 3D showing as well. The movie was started at 8:15 and ended at 11:10 WTF i didn't expect it to be that long.

For the record, i thought it was much much better than The Fallen, i really thought that movie was terrible!!!!!!!!! However it sort of follows in the same problems. Even though i love nice lengthy movies, i felt like they could of at least cut out 30 mins of the movie. The action was fine but i thought it went a bit too long.

Now here starts the fun:

My biggest gripe with not only this movie but with all of the Transformer movies, is the fact that they're so easy to take down; especially amongst themselves. I know they're robots and all but they take each other out with 2-3 hits. It was easily apparent in this movie towards the last half hour when the battle broke out. I know Prime is a badass but he goes around ripping other transformers to shred in mere seconds. For highly advanced robots, you would think their bodies would be reinforced to take more than 2 hits.

Now WTF was with Megatron. He was a former shadow of himself. I liked his look with the scarf around him, sort of reminded me of a Jedi and i even took in the decaying effect happening around his head. But wow they did under-use him. For this movie being the last in the series and the big finale, Megatron whose been the adversary for sometime now went out much too quickly (going back to my previous argument about how easy it is for them to take each other out) and barely had any screen time.

I also found it sort of funny how they brushed off Megan Fox's character so easily. For someone who was involved in two big efforts to save the planet and know all this secret information, they brushed her over like she was nothing.

Well after my minor complaints, the movie was definitely worth a watch. I'm not sure if the 3D was worth it though. It didn't feel or bring anything to the table. With all the action going on, i would of loved to see a couple things thrown at the screen. It did certainly have that "Avatar" affect of being 3D in its own world. Not sure how to explain it correctly but in Avatar the 3D worked to bring the entire movie sort of closer to your face rather then pop out at you in a way.

The sound track was also pretty good. I love the track they played as the Auto-bots were taking off, it was perfect for the moment, nice and slow paced. Overall movie was pretty good.

One thing that bugged me, and this might not even need a spoiler but I'll play it safe.

What's with the robots "bleeding" all the sudden? It wasn't in the first 2 at all, and just looked strange in this one.

I do agree that the ending wasn't the best. It seemed like the first half of the movie dragged on too long and they had to shorten the ending. Don't get me wrong it wasn't terrible, but if this really is the last movie the ending left a lot to be desired.

I also really want the new concept Corvette that Sideswipe has.
