Took my kids to see TF3 today and we thought it was pretty good. I felt like this movie was 20 or so minutes too long. I found some issues with the beginning of the film. I just felt like we were jumping all over the place at one point that got a little annoying.

I was left disappointed at how Shockwave was used and then how quickly he was dispatched by Optimus. Shockwave with those arms should have been able to take everyone and anything out. The problem that I have is that we have Shockwave coming off as the main villain, then there is Megatron in the background taking a backseat, the minimal use of Starscream, and then Sentinel Prime who is again trying to take power but over the Decepticons. The amount of main villains in superhero movies drives me up a wall as it did with Spider-man 3.

I agree with GiantsYankee that if the humans are going to be used as slaves, why the hell were the Decepticons killing them in the streets? Wouldn't you want to preserve as many humans as possible to use as your slaves?

Megatron getting killed in under 5 seconds was just plain odd choice.

I didn't mind having humans fighting against the Decepticons as it shows that the human race had no choice after they thought the Autobots were killed. They were going to give it one chance to stop the Decepticons.

The ending just came way toooooooo soooooon.

I like Megan Fox, but I think I liked Rosie Huntington-Whiteley better. With Fox it felt like pure eye candy and no substance.

I would love for them to take a break on sequel after sequel and a prequel covering The War for Cyberton would be awesome. I know we have seen several scenes in all three movies covering the war, but I think this would be good as it can stray away a bit from the current formula from all three movies. Granted it would be a CGI-fest with the prequel, but it could be fun if done right.

If you don't get headaches, go for the 3D. It was an extra $3.50 (glasses) where I went.
