I was always wondering what would happen if she would be with a large group of people. That is, be it with her one friend that visited that one day (and called later in that one alternate ending) or with an even larger group. Would they all experience some scary ****-storm where the demon would just terrorize all of them to death? It seems like it wasn't really a huge fan of publicity.

But I feel like if they decided to leave for somewhere, a possessed Katie would just make something happen as they're in their car, like getting in a wreck or something. I can just believe the psychic and say that leaving would have done nothing.

I wonder if that other guy could have helped out though. What was his name? Johan something? Too bad they didn't call him earlier.

Yeah, in my head I was thinking the same thing. It would prob ef with their car. It wouldn't start, or the breaks would cut out or something. Honestly, if I were in that situation I'd just call 5 of my friends to come over and we'd just trek to the nearest place we could find on foot. I would have done that before she was possessed. This would just be a temporary solution until that other guy helped out like you said. Who knows though, the entity might sense such a thing and just possess her on the spot.

Exactly. As I said, leaving wouldn't have done a thing, and may have just made things worse because other lives would be at stake. I think the only reason it wanted to stay at the house was so that it could more easily tantalize Micah and his OCD with the camera (e.g. throwing him into it, just kind of like a final "F you" to him).

It being fictional or not (it's not) has nothing whatsoever to do with the point that I was making regarding the difference in a haunted house vs. a haunted person and you know it Cebby. I imagine that comment was some sort of little swipe at me but I think instead it just made you look a little foolish.

So you believe that the events of the movie actually occurred?

has nothing whatsoever to do with the point that I was making regarding the difference in a haunted house vs. a haunted person and you know it Cebby.

If the reviewer had said "it's a story about a girl haunted and possessed by a demon" it would spoil the first hour or so of the movie and most of the "story" that doesn't involve the ghost moving doors.

A haunted house is a much better description for people going into the movie.

All that needs said is that it is a film about a haunting...to say that it's a movie about a haunted house is simply wong so why they would say that unless they simply didn't understand the movie? A house being haunted vs. a person being haunted is a huge difference.

I saw this and The Exorcist with my girlfriend Saturday. It was a great night for those two movies, storming and lightning outside like crazy!

Wow, I may have not slept after that.

Two of the better "scare" movies ever made IMO.

Hopefully it was the director's cut of The Exorcist.

lol at all the people that thought PA was scary. PA was terrible and I'm pretty sure PA2 will be worse than Blair Witch 2.

If PA2 does well, I think it's the new Saw franchise and we get a new one each year. They can probably make these sequels for less than 5 million.

the scariest part for me was that it seemed so real. It didn't even seem like a movie it seemed like it was really happening

It's hard to tell, but that would make zero sense. I doubt and really hope it is not her.

So i'm bored and just been searching for stuff on the cams in the trailer. So far i've found the rocking chair move in the mirror, possibly a shadow of the "thing/girl" in a window/mirror in the kitchen and in the last shot of her/it standing there the baby standing in the crib in the mirror though no baby is present in the crib and finally the final picture has a backwards phrase in the mirror "Whats happening to hunter?"

yeah, i'm wack.
