Specs could be suspect being that boy genius leaked first. Probably not far off though. If/When this thing comes to Sprint, I'm all over it. I would only question the 5 megapixel Camera when it seems 8 is becoming the standard. Yes, I know megapixel has nothing to do with picture quality.

According to our source, the device codenamed Nexus Prime is going to ship with Samsung's own chipset, with a blazingly fast dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. But wait, there's more.
On that chipset will also reside a powerful dual-core GPU from Imagination. We suspect it's going to be the PowerVR SGX543MP2, or in other words, the same GPU found in the iPad 2 (and quite probably on the iPhone 4S as well).
On the back, instead of the 5-megapixel snapper, our source claims, there's an 8-megapixel, full 1080p HD video-shooting camera with some sort of an improved sensor. As for the battery, expect a 2050mAh one (do we hear a whoa?), which should be good for a couple of days use without charging.
The Nexus Prime will also be LTE-enabled, but the most interesting part is that it would probably boast a dual-mode GSM/CDMA radio, just like the Apple iPhone 4S.
All those specifications sound almost too nice to be true, but keeping in mind the advertisement for the Nexus Prime, prompting us that "something BIG is coming", we won't be surprised if all of these purported specs turn out to be real.
What we do know for sure is that the head-turning 4.65-inch, 1280x720 pixels screen is definitely a go. Whatever the truth might be, we'll definitely find out on October 11, which is just a few days from now.

I was thinking the Motorola Atrix or the Samsung Infuse would be a good fit.

Go for the LG Thrill 3D. I have that and it is amazing.

Galaxy S II comes out net Wednesday for T-Mobile. Might not be in my budget just yet though. Glad my upgrade is finally here though.

The prime sounds AMAZING, but i can't wait for a phone anymore and i'm T-Mobile, so its sort of a lose lose here. I am on the other hand pumped for the Amaze 4g though. I just sold my Vibrant Galaxy for about $150 and am patiently waiting until next week for the Amaze.

I've had the Galaxy 2 on the mind as well, but i need a "different" feeling phone. I've had the original Galaxy since the first day it launched last year, i need something that feels different. Yes the 2 is a beefier machine, but the casing remains the same except for it being a 4.3 inch screen now.

The amaze on the other hand sounds Amazing, however i hear the processor in it isn't as fast as the G2X, however being on one of the two phones on T-mobile's network that can theoretically hit 42mbps, i'm excited.

I'm waiting to hear more info on the next Nexus phone. If it for some reason doesn't come to Sprint, i'll probably pick up the 4S in a few weeks.

I'm wondering if it's better to go with the Nexus over the HTC Vigor or not...Anyone with experience know if the "Vanilla" Google Android experience is better than getting HTC Sense and whatnot?

Vanilla is better than Sense, Touch Wiz, etc. It's faster and the updates are immediate where as you have to wait for the official update AND HTC to develop a version of Sense to work on the new updates.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll just hold out for the Nexus Prime. Just annoyed that it's delayed another couple weeks, but I'll survive.

Steer clear of that one. It was under powered when it was released. If a person does a little searching you can probably find a Droid Incredible for cheaper than that phone is listed for.
