The Sprint variant is a dual core and has shown, for all intents and purposes, to actually be better than the quad core. Benchmarks aside, real world performance should back this up.

No practical reason for a quad-core phone anyways.

The Evo LTE should be a bad *** device either way.

I had completely forgotten it was dual core. I'm hoping the rom community embraces it like they did the EVO 3G. I see no reason why they wouldn't.

Motorola is releasing the Droid Fighter next week I believe, which is going to supplant the Razr Maxx (yea...3 Moto phones in like 3 months). I have an upgrade available and I think that's what I'm going to get.

Also, Verizon is going to start charging $30 for upgrades starting April 30th, so something to keep in mind.

Anyone know much about the LG Spectrum? My cousin is getting that because it cost less, but still has some good specs. Haven't heard much about it though.

Anyone have any thoughts on this phone? My girlfriend and I both need new phones and Verizon is having a BOGO sale on these ($199 for both). Thinking about picking them up.

I'm on the fence, might get the galaxy nexus for sprint but the evo 4g lte is a couple of weeks away. downside for the nexus is that its 6 months old but its support by google so it'll get updates right away.

If it's better than Razr Maxx I'll trade that in (we got my GF one Friday, she loves the battery life) and get the new one, but only if the battery's decent....Anyone know the rest of the updates? Is this the Razr HD or something?

Thankfully I've got 30ish days to exchange this, and I got in before the new Verizon upgrade fee, so that pays the restocking fee either way.
