I use the Google keyboard and a Google replacement for any stock app that I can! And I'm so glad that emoji can be recognized across the iOS and Android platforms!

SwiftKey and the default keyboard can be really annoying. It's probably me though. I can't figure out how to put ".50" into a sentence without the quotes. It's autocorrect the decimal back as a period and makes it. 50 instead of how I want it.

Once you type .50 hit the 50 in the suggestions up top in the middle. It'll then keep it as typed without autocorrecting it. You have to also make an extra space or it will make a period.

All I can say is I understand what you're saying because it did the same with me but it was easy enough to figure out.

Is anyone with the Galaxy S5 having battery issues? This thing is eating battery like crazy. I went to bed last night with about 30% left and it was completely dead when I woke up.

I have auto brightness turned on and I do think even use the phone constantly. Could it be all the bloatware apps?

Check the battery in settings and see what apps are using most of it. I had a problem with Google+ on my note 3. It would just open seemingly at random and drain the hell out of my battery. I ended up disabling it completely.

Is there an app that will play a certain time of a song?

For example, I can't run if the whole 4 minute song plays -- I lose my edge.

What I want is an app that will play, say, 30 seconds of a song so I can stay motivated, rather than bored

Whew finally took the plunge and root my G2 with towelroot JUST to installed xposed and Gravity Box to make small changes to my stock software like the circle battery and getting voice Google search with LG's launcher

I'd check eBay out or sw-box.. I think the s4 only needs the glass replaced and that is like 10$ from what i remember.

I switch back and forth and used to tell myself that I was an iOS guy that kept experimenting with Android. But, since I used Android before iOS thanks to Verizon, I now realize that I'm an Android guy that has had affairs with iOS!

They're both great platforms though!

They are, but I feel like I want to try something different. My main thing with IOS is I feel the apps are sometimes better, but maybe that has changed. My contract is up in September and I'm considering a new android phone unless the iPhone 6 comes out with some crazy stuff 😃

Yes, the apps being better on iOS was definitely the case but I'm not finding that the apps I use are equally as good, if not better in some cases, on Android now.

I'm upgrade eligible in October but since I just got my G2 in trade for my iPhone 5 a few weeks ago I'm going to stick with it for the foreseeable future! I'm a Craigslist upgrader lol
