The guy in the video was wrong with the iphone specs. He said it was 2gb of internal memory but it's actually 1gb.

As expected, someone on XDA has ported Remote Play functionality from Xperia Z3 line to other android phones. Procedure for installing is short, and will be easy for everyone who has ever installed custom rom before [installing of small patch via CRM, deleting caches, installing of app]. Setting up Dualshock compatibility for all phones requires installation of one additional app. RP on android DEMANDS presence of gamepad.


Notice for those who always apppear and are suprised: YES, remote play works great both at home and over the internet [if your home router is not having problems with few ports]. You can play your PS4 games from 1km, 10km, few hundred km away, and even from around the world. Lag is small, acceptable for many games [LTE hotstpots are usable but introduce more lag], and many gaffers use this type of of RP on daily basis to play PS4 games while on work

I compared them and they really seem similar so it will probably come down to how each feels in my hand. Just wanted to see if there were some big differences that are not in the specs.

I compared them and they really seem similar so it will probably come down to how each feels in my hand. Just wanted to see if there were some big differences that are not in the specs.

Specs and hardware wise the biggest difference might be the HTC weird low MP dual lense camera. It's a deal killer for some and others don't care a bit.

If you test drove both, the biggest difference you would notice off the bat are the different UI skins the two manufacturers use. Samsung uses Touch and HTC uses Sense over the vanilla android that's installed. That would come down to a preference thing too (I prefer Sense) and since you'd be learning a new OS anyway the difference might be negligible. You can always root and change all that anyway.

It's not what I have a friend of mine has it and after looking at some things for her I got the information. Honestly just look up a few of the things that interest you about it. Not that is a bad phone or anything

Looking at my Sig, you won't get an unbiased answer out of me...lol.

Seriously, can't go wrong with either. They are very similar in function and performance. Don't let the camera thing throw you off of the M8, it really does work well with the duo-cams (including 3D motion pics).
