I use a program everyday called Tiny Scanner pro, take a pic of all my documents/receipts, it basically replaced a copy machine for me.

I pretty much don't clog my phone with useless apps but I do keep emergency stuff on their like, I have one for basic survival, compass, different types of knots.

Actually gave it to my daughter. She had the LG V20 and hated it.

I really did like the pixel though. Great phone.

Just wanted to say that after a couple weeks I am still in love with the S8.

My favorite phone since the star tac.

I don't think I can ever go back to the iPhone unless the 8 blows it away.

All this talk about the S8+ is making the wait for the Note 8 even harder. I am on T-Mobile right now and thinking of switching to Verizon. Service has been terrible for me for awhile, hardly get service at and near work. Called T-Mobile and after telling them my address at work they were like oh I see why...which isn't something you want to hear. They don't have many towers near me at work. I can get a deal also for work if I switch to Verizon, many people who work there have it and love the service, I've heard that they have some terrible hidden fees and are in general more expensive...thoughts?

Verizon and AT&T service is usually the best. I've had both and haven't had a problem. Verizon is more expensive generally. My work pays for my plan, so I don't care, but I would be with AT&T if they didn't because I have directv and could bundle.

Love my s8. Coming from a s6 edge that was starting to have problems, it's a great improvement. I can go a full day without needing to charge it and I don't even have the battery saving turned on.

                Re: Official Android Discussion Thread

We switched from AT&T to Verizon about a year or so ago and have been really happy with the service. The customer service of Verizon has been overall better than our experience with AT&T.

I traded in my Note 5 for an S8+ yesterday, but my new phone won't be in for a couple days. They had to have it shipped from another Verizon in the state. I'm pretty excited to say the least, especially after hearing all the great reviews and impressions. I contemplated waiting for the Note 8, but my impatience got the best of me and there were a couple promotions making it an easier choice.

Waiting on the next Google phone. Pixel is still absurdly expensive.

Called Verizon and they can give me unlimited text and calls and international package for 55$ a month. I want to get the Note 8 when it comes out so didn't want to buy a phone till then but they offer the LGK20V for free. May just wait till then to switch or I guess I could deal with that phone for few months..plus service will be much cheaper for a few months.. hmmm

Yeah...i need a new phone eventually, but don't want to pay the monthly fee now and i can limp by with my old phone. I wouldn't pay for the current Pixel, but a new one will be tempting. Need to know more about it though.

Question about the S7 Edge... Is it the best Android phone you can get on Verizon in the $400 price range?

Wanna try something different than the V10. Never had a Samsung phone...

Kinda excited my VR headset gets here tomorrow from the S8+ promotion. First Android phone I've had in 5 years. Moved to a smaller firm with no corporate cell plan, so I had to get my own phone and they pay a flat amount to the bell, so I jumped at the chance to get a new android phone.

Any suggestions on what to do about my Google keyboard? Suggestions on it are horrible. I need autocorrect because I'm lazy to go back and fix misspelled words at times, but seems like the keyboard doesn't always fix some mistakes, or fixes things not needing fixing. And the suggestions at times are horrible. I turned off censored word suggestions, but it still suggests inappropriate words despite me never typing those words before.

I use SwiftKey and it works pretty good unless I'm misunderstanding what you want.
