I wouldn't be surprise if all these TV's are related some how.

I check out that sound bar tonight. I think I am going to get that. It was loud enough for me and I really liked the size of the speakers.

It got the best reviews of the sound bar/sub combos under $500.

Yeah I saw the vid you posted. I liked it a lot. The speaker were not that big and it will fit right on top of my TV stand. I and the sound was great. So let me ask you a question the speakers on the TV are they set to mute, so they run of the other speakers? The one thing I hate about this TV is it makes a popping noise when it switches signals from 1080i and 720p. So I was hoping it is something with the TV and the DirecTV cable box would not do this with the sound bar speakers.

Yeah there was def something wrong with the set. I almost got another one, but I was getting ALOT of glare on the screen as well. So I went with LCD. I think I got a pretty good deal on it.

Only thing I am wondering is if you can turn off the 120hz. It looks a little different when watching regular shows in HD. Not bad, just different. I can't seem to find the option to turn it off. If not its not a big deal.

I am pretty sure you can turn that off. Go to menu and look for something that say motion enhancer or something similar. Every TV has a different name for it.

Yep. Either mute or turn the volume down to 0. I don't use my tv speakers for anything too.

                        Re: Plasma Owners?

I finally threw my set's box away this morning, I still held on to it just in case if a return needed to be made. Also I kept the bx just in case I might have thought about an exchange. I can say that I'm very happy with my set and it's most certainly a keeper. I love the picture on my set. Watching sports has been eye candy latley.

I was thinking of buying a smaller LCD to hook up to my computer, because I needed a new monitor for my PC. Anyway I instead of a smaller LCD I bought a brand new 23" full 1080p Dell monitor, it has one HDMI connection, response time is 2ms so I'm going to see how the PS3 looks on this when I get it. his Monitor is suppose to be one of the best, the max resolution goes beyond 1080p.

                        This is what I got.

Look for a setting called TRUMOTION. This is what activates 120hz processing on the LG

Of note, you might want to keep your box for any future moving. Luckily I kept the 2 boxes and packing material for my HDTV's and when I recently moved, they came in handy. The moving company made mention that they would not move either HDTV without the TV's being placed in the original box with the original packing material. I guess it's a CYA for them...

My issue is I live in apartment and the 50" box has no room to be saved, I had it in my hall in my living room and it couldn't stay there, I just have no place to keep it.
