      yes sir...LOL...

I'm really starting to real love my set. I love how thin it is, the single layer glass is sweet.

I think my set is really breaking in well, because any image rention that I get is gone in about 60 seconds tops. Even after playing the PS3 for over an hour. This was making me worried when I first bought it, so far no more worrying.

Nice picture Football. It sucks that Fox games only run in 720p and CBS games run in 1080i. At least they do here. The CBS games looks so much clearer.

How much better will be a product of viewing distance.

However, even at 4 feet the difference will be minimal.

Very nice. The sets I saw at walmart were actually 720p. So I am kinda back to square 1. I am not gonna sell myself short on this purchase. I gotta have 1080p and 120hz if I go with LCD. If you don't mind me asking FF how much was that set?

Thats a good price. A little more than I want to spend though. I also think a 50'' would be a little big for my living room. I didn't even think about Sears. Im gonna look at 42'' there.

Any thoughts on this set anyone? I found it on Sears.com and it said $664, but then I clicked it and it took me to newegg and its $749.

pjv, I just bought one from amazon, it's open box with "slight cosmetic damage to housing" for $670. I checked it out at Sears and at Best Buy and it looked fantastic, not to mention it's one of the top 42" plasmas out there right now according to reviews and such.

Very solid set. Was the last 42 inch set i looked at before deciding on 50 inches. Excellent black levels and very good anti-glare....only negative I can see is not having a PC input.

You can't go wrong with a Panny PJ. That is a great set too.

On a generic type of question, would you recommend a Samsung, LG or Panasonic as far as a plasma goes? Im going to be looking at TV's in the near future but is one brand just heads and shoulders better then the other? My folks have a Samsung and it looks amazing and Ive seen a Panasonic and it looks good as well. I know its not very specific but wanted to know if there was a difference in brand itself maybe.
