    I'm done.

You have on one hand a guy that beat up his girlfriend two years ago and because it was more public despite the fact he isn't near a popular as guy #2, nor garners the attention, we can't let the guy move on with his life. Oh, and his music is getting old, even though his new album debuted at #1. LOL. But we can't talk about that, because we have to talk about **** that none of us were apart of two years ago.

Another dude's domestic disputes aren't as public, he didn't beat the **** out of his girlfriend, just slapped her around a little, shot at her accidentally, or whatever, but it wasn't as publicized, so it's no big deal. Hell, snort all the coke you want on any porn star's ***, while you rake in the endorsement money, because it's entertaining. At least he's being a great father figure to his kids by paying the child support.

So how is he losing money if his album debuted at number 1? (I was talking more about the stuff I've actually listened to from the past two years or so)

        Re: The Charlie Sheen Watch

A lot of stations still won't play his songs, same with clubs, loss endorsement deals, etc.

But I hijacked this thread enough.

I agree with what everyone's saying that CB got what he deserved after the entire deal. What I believe he feels is he's trying to move on from that, mature from that and be a better man from it (at least on the surface it seems), and people won't let him. It's almost Vick-Stallworth-like. He did a heinous crime, he paid the price and now is trying to move on from that. Yet, there are people that still hate him for what he did. Donte Stallworth kills a man driving impaired, but no one talks about it like they do Vick because it wasn't as publicized. It may be a stretch of a comparison (and not a very good one), but I think you guys understand what I'm getting at.

Then at the same time, Sheen's, who also has a checkered past (albeit his isn't as publicized/bad as CB's) popularity has skyrocketed. The timing of all this is why I think CB went off.

I do think CB has handled it very poorly, despite being sideswiped in the last interview that was suppose to be about his album. (Which sparked the tweet I posted).

I understand where you, BlueNGold and EN are coming from, though. Just a good debate.

Also, I believe this has nothing to do with race, so I'm not trying to play that card.

I just think it has to do with maturity. And he is still a child.

Where Sheen has been there done that. And is a much more successful entertainer as a whole, and able to spin his negatives much better, and give himself better publicity for it.

That is what it ultimately comes down to really.

And if he swelled up Denise Richards face to the extent that Rhianna looked, he would have been vilified much more I think.

I believe it was actually made by EA using the Sims 3. it's at least on their channel.

I'm just really annoyed Chris Brown would even bother playing the victim or "woe is me" card. GTFO of here with that.
Well said. I really don't care about either of them. I haven't check their "Tweets" of course I don't care about Twitter either.

It's funny that this thread is this long. Only reason I know about it is because of watching/listening to the Dan Patrick Show.

I hate to jump in to the thread with something that we are trying to leave alone, but I just have a question.... How long should it be before the kid stops getting questioned about the whole Rihanna thing. It has been two years since the incident. He was punished and has been on television and talked about it more than once. I don't even like the kid or his music but what more can he say about it?

Pretty sure this was his first album post-Rihanna incident, so that's why I don't get why he's surprised he's being asked about it.

So much for a hot sell-out

You can forget the reports that Charlie Sheen has sold out NYC's legendary Radio City Music Hall and other venues around America on his 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option' tour, as sources tell me thousands upon thousands of tickets remain unsold.

"Tickets are available to all of his shows in every price range," a tour promoter tells me. "Telling everyone all the tickets sold out in minutes is an old trick used by groups that buy blocks of tickets and then try to resell them at a higher price."

At this point, my source says, there are so many tickets available that groups and scalpers are trying to get rid of them, fearing that they'll ultimately have to sell the tickets below face value.

A quick search on StubHub.com, a popular site where fans buy and sell tickets from other "fans," shows that more than a thousand seats are available for both of Charlie's gigs at Radio City. Chicago and Detroit also have more than a thousand tickets available.

So much for Sheens first show in Detroit as it started out well, albeit before he opened his mouth, but then ended with people walking out early, booing and chants for a refund, lol.

One guy said “Is there a bigger loser in the world?" I'd say everyone who paid good money for his gear and to see him rant on-stage have a claim for that title.

What exactly was the crowd expecting?

Good for them. Don't know why anyone would have paid money for that expecting a good show. Everything written in those articles is exactly they type of things I pictured when I read he was going on a tour.
