Russell saw the writing on the wall. He should have waited one more week though. Now he has one less competitor in the challenges though. Sandra and Colby haven't done anything and Jerri got lucky. That leaves Rupert for strength and Parv for endurance.

Russell has no chance against anyone in a jury vote. His social game is the best when it comes not getting voted off, but worst for getting jury votes.Comment

Re: *** Survivor: Heroes vs. Villians (Season 20) ***
Probst had some good insight on his blod about Russel. Saying Russel has been there 2 seasons in a row with a little over a week of recovery time. It takes a toll on your phsyically and mentally and that Russel is somewhat broken.
I think we sit up here and think, i would have done this instead of that, but we dont realize that these guys are physically and mentally beat up and bad. These guys are starving all while they are all trying to scheme and plot the next move and future moves.
Russel turned into a real ******* i think we all know that. NO way he will win this, but he's still in it. I think now, for Suvivor its not about who wins it, its about who makes it to the final. I mean, for the players its about to wins it, but for me as a view, i like how they get there.
Jury members are just to bitter to vote for the person that actually deserves it.Comment

I've been saying that Russell's playing for second since week 3 or 4. You can't piss everyone off and expect to win the $$, too bad Russell doesn't realize that though. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

I've been watching the hell out of Fans v. Favorites the past two days. I have the first 10 episodes done already. Don't spoil anything for me, I haven't seen this season at all yet.
I have learned one valuable lesson. If your HII looks like a stick, it's probably just a stick.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: *** Survivor: Heroes vs. Villians (Season 20) ***
-And so there's only 1 episode left. Assessing each player's chances at winning:
Colby: Slim chance. The Villains won't let him near that jury. If he finally starts winning challenges, though, and snakes his way into the final tribal, he wins. Simple as that. And it's probably not even close. So, for Colby, it all comes down to challenges. If he can win 2 immunities in a row, he's a millionaire. If not, he's voted out. As they say in the sports world, he controls his own destiny.
Russell: No shot. He's stabbed too many backs, and I don't think he gets to play the "I played the best game" argument this year. This jury would've given him the money in Samoa because they could probably appreciate his domination that season (and Natalie's lack of doing anything relevant to the game at all), if he gets to the end he has no shot here.
Jerri: Slim chance. It depends what the jury's voting criteria ends up being. If they vote based on who played the best game, she can't realistically make that case. She followed Russell all the way to where she is now. If the jury votes on who they like the best, though, she could win. If she's up there with, say, Parvati and Russell, I like her odds a lot. If she ends up with any say in the matter, she needs to bring those two with her. They're the only ones she can beat. Sandra's more likeable and less connected to Russ, and Colby will win if he gets there. Jerri's issue is that I think the jury appreciates the game and will vote for who they think played the best game.
Sandra: Decent shot. If she gets to the end, she gets to play the lesser of the evils argument unless Colby is there with her. She could make an effective argument against Jerri, who flipped once and was generally Russell's puppet. She could make an effective argument against Parvati, who was co-mastermind of all the backstabbing with Russ until recently. And she'd beat Russell going away pretty much no matter what.
Parvati: Great shot. A few things at play here. She made the requisite huge move to prove that she didn't just ride coattails when she gave up 2 immunity idols to save her alliance. I think that will play big. She also played a pretty decent social game. She doesn't have a lot of enemies on that jury. She pretty much laid in the weeds, let Russell stab the backs she wanted him to stab, and sort of silently ran the show. I don't know how you beat someone that played a great strategic game and played a pretty darn good social game. I think the game she's played this season is quite a bit better than the other 4. Colby did nothing and doesn't deserve to be rewarded. Sandra didn't really do anything strategically. Russell was way too arrogant and blunt and his social game gives him no shot. And Jerri just rode coattails. If I had to pick, Parvati is my odds-on favorite. She'd get my vote.
-I HATE THE FAMILY EPISODES! You might say I have no heart, and I might actually agree with you, but all this sappy crap takes away valuable strategy time. I don't care about them seeing their family, it's boring to watch. Get back to the scheming, that's why I'm watching in the first place.
-Man did the Palm Pre and Sprint get some serious pimpage. That got annoying real quick. I don't like families and I don't like blatant product placement. This episode had both in spades.
-Rupert kept talking from the very beginning of the episode about how lucky he was to be there. It was an obvious signal he was gone. And that made me happy, because he was kind of grating at me in an already annoying week.
-Someone want to explain to me why Sandra wasn't going to play her idol? It becomes of literally no use to her after this week. It doesn't buy you a jury vote, it doesn't do anything. The only reason I can think of is so people didn't know she was keeping something from them, which I guess is sort of a not crappy reason, but advancing into the top 5 for sure seems more important to me.
-I knew Russ would get pissed when Jerri chose Parv and Sandra for reward. Not her best strategic play. Hate him or hate him even more, Russ gets results. If he wants you gone, generally he gets his wish. Jerri dodged a bullet there, I think.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
